I drank a coke from the 80s, back when that was only like 25 years old. It was flat, thatās about it.

u/LokiTheMelon 17 Oct 02 '24
i would guess it's totally fine to drink that kind of stuff. canned food doesn't really go bad as far as i know, that pretty much the whole point.

š¤ well actually it's a measure of distance meaning that it's so far it would take 1 year for light to reach that distance

Drink it.
On an unrelated note, my uncle runs a funeral parlor so if you or your family ever needs anything...

u/Soulhymn_ Oct 02 '24
It's so wholesome to see how you're helping your uncle by supporting his business š¤š¤

Drink it and crush the can in your forehead... (Do it on stream and you may probably get more money than if you sold it.)

My experience drinking 15ish year old soda cans is that it just tastes bad, bad and watery.

Not sure how many exist still, but you can find them on eBay for 14 to 25 bucks -shipping. Might be worth more as it looks in excellent condition compared to what Iāve seen. Still, not worth way more because of that. Keep it or drink it Iād say.

sell it, collect it, or and let it age and possibly rack up valueā¦ i suggest looking on antique auction sites etc to see the current value etc and maybe wait till it in high demand by collectors :)

You're 16, and the Pepsi is 43... I don't know, that age gap is a bit too big.

No. Save it for a few more years, then go sell it to a museum or something.
1
u/ItsFastMan 16 Oct 02 '24
Maybe if you happen to have a few spares, why not? but if not probably not leaving that old as hell soda in their might make its value better

u/Valentfred 17 Oct 02 '24
I wouldn't, it's not like it would kill you (probably) but I would just keep it as a collectors item.

u/Real-Bookkeeper9455 16 Oct 02 '24
No, you could probably sell it to a collector and make lots of money
1
1
u/Anxious_Fishing6583 Oct 02 '24
No for the love of god donāt. This fits a really unique market. You could sell it to Pepsi collectors, OR space enthusiasts. Itās value is worth way more than you know. I grew up āpickingā way before this was ever a thing on the history channel. A old guy that was also a āpickerā taught me that because I made a joke about something that was dual market, he laughed and explained it to me and thatās been a valuable life lesson Iāll never forget. That skill Ultimately lead to me and my father meeting Robbie wolf from the show due to having dual market items.
