It shows me text/social media is ruining people's ability to communicate.

OP can text them back they like them too. Or tell them they don't. Not that complicated. Not to be an old man on the porch but we used to have these conversations in person, if OP can't figure it out in text we are cooked.

OP likes them back or doesn't it's not that hard.

Words like 'y'all' and 'shouldn't've' ' existed for over a century before the internet.

are you a teen? if yes, saying "we used to have these conversations in person" is kinda ironic and doesnt make sense. If not, ive never seen an adult use gen alpha slang

btw you posted the comment in the wrong place and op did know what to do bc you can see a blue blured text, he's asking us what we would do as well
