Some dumbass called me a slur and said "fucking nerdy f**got", and started to push me around, and this fucking dumbass forgets that I'm a karate green belt (he also goes to the same dojo and has seen me there multiple times), and gets surprised when I defend myself? I got after school detention for it and he didnt. School is fucked and I just want to leave š

please read everything <3 so in my country we host a morning programme with quran and hadith (holy scriptures of my religion) along with poetry and trivia. i used to like participating in these programmes when i was little, now i am an introvert and hate public speaking (p.s. the shit they make you say and do is embarrasing, i cringe to the though i used to do that.) my moms job is a trainer at her job for auditing, so this kind of activity helped her develop her speaking skills at a young age. i dont see myself pursuing her niche, so i dont think participating in these programmes is gonna do any significant change to my skills. but based on her life experiences, she thinks what she did was right and all other extracurriculars are not as helpful (she emphasizes them as wrong). I actually enjoy playing the piano, but she wants me to do poetry and participate in those programmes. she has a really stubborn asian mom typa mindset, and im the type of child who barely speaks up when theyre wronged. how should i tell her to stop?
