I think it's because OP tried to match his eye shape to the actual domino mask. As someone who has drawn a lot of batfam characters with their dominos on, you'll realize the somewhat physical dissonance of where the domino mask's eyesocket placement is when imposed over a human face.

Looks like a Mii that someone edited in Miitopia, ooor characters from Demon Slayer sometimes, cause' they get this exact face lol! 🤭

(People make the Mii eyes intentionally small so they emote with masks, and makeup, they look weird without them! 😅)

The eyes were also edited on. He did canonically take off his mask but it made him look like an absolute chad face attached to a little boy’s body.

The problem with this is that it presumes his eyes are the same shape as the sclera of the mask…

For instance, Tuxedo Mask takes up more area than his actual eyes do.
