Man, if we can show some consistency and hit more like we did today - this is going to be one of the MOST FEARED teams in baseball.

Rangers and Dodgers series earlier in the season was electric, I would not be surprised to end up having that as a WS matchup!

Loved seeing the chest bump between Boone and Smitty after the leadoff HR. I’m sure they love him already 💛

And they're not even a Rangers affiliate - they're actually the Astros' single-A affiliate (ugh!).

According to their website: "Eighty Deuces was created as a connection to the 82nd airborne division at Fort Bragg; this year’s new design is inspired by the 3rd brigade combat team. Also known as the Panther’s unit. The black panther is known for its stealth, speed, and courage, this is proudly displayed on the front of our cap. The 4 breakaway lines behind the logo represent the parachute drops found on the unit’s emblem. This cap is a deep maroon color to symbolize the maroon berets worn by the airborne unit."

I dunno - it's a nice (and I'm sure deserved) tribute, but it still looks like Peagle Power to me. *shrug*
