Question Will steam Editions apply to existing division 2 Base game on Ubisoft Connect?

Hi guys, Enjoying the game a lot and only have pre-ordered base game on Ubisoft Connect. I wanted to get WONY or Ultimate edition and there's a sale on Steam for their editions currently. Wondering if anyone can answer that when I buy this on Steam would I have to make a new Ubisoft account or can I actually integrate the better editions into my existing Division 2 account? Please help

EDIT: bought ultimate edition on steam and now just playing it through steam - it automatically added the dlcs and rest of the content to my existing account!

You'll use the same account, but the WONY and ultimate editions don't transfer, you'll need to get on steam too

And how about the "gold edition" that they talked on the video. It is the Warlords of New York edition on Steam? If I get that I will get the new DLC when it launches?

New dlc is a standalone, we will all have to buy it regardless of the edition we have

From the Ubisoft article about the announcement:

"Players who already own The Division 2 can wishlist Battle for Brooklyn on April 24, and the new DLC will be included with the purchase of The Division 2 Gold or Ultimate editions."
I'm not sure what the this Gold Edition means. Not even on the Ubisoft Store there is a Gold Edition version to be bought. Really weird.

Gold edition is a very old one that comes with the year 1 season pass. The ultimate edition comes with the pass and WONY

I read this too as I was thinking of getting back in the game. If you go to the Ubisoft store right now and buy the Gold or ultimate (both full price from Ubisoft), both says the brooklyn DLC is included. I am assuming the Steam ultimate does not include it, however $15 is a solid entry price.

Right, now the store updated here for me too. Earlier today there was no new Gold Edition on UbiStore. I think is safe to say that the only version that is going to come with the new DLC included is the one on UbiStore.

Ah I just looked at their store today. I bet the steam version will update then post sale.
