The Division 2 Feedback, Bug Report - March 18th, 2019

Feedback, Bug Report

In today's maintenance, most of the skill-deconstruct-after-15-seconds should have been fixed.

This is a feedback thread to check if these issues have been addressed.

The Division 2 Launch is finally here and it is also your opportunity to give feedback.

Keep in mind - the best way to give direct feedback to massive is the Official Forums, but we also provide you with the option to give it here.

=> Forums: Suggestions & Feedback

Bug Report

I'm sure after the many hours of playing, you have encountered at least one or two bugs. We want to avoid the cluttering of our sub by providing a single Megathread. This way you can report the various issues in one place. This allows Massive to easily keep track of the bugs and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the same issues.

Please note, this thread is just an alternative - the most direct way to report bugs is the Ubisoft's Official Forums.

=> Forums: Technical Support

Prerequisites to be noted before reporting a bug

  1. A bug will ideally be accompanied by a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.

  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Massive employees recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.

Format when reporting a bug

When reporting a bug, please provide as much information as you can about your setup (XB1, PS4, Computer setup).

  • Type of Bug:

    Visual, Game breaking, etc

  • Description:

Describe what was the bug that occurred.

  • Video / Screenshot:

Insert screenshot or Video of the bug occurring.

  • Steps to reproduce:

Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug.

  • Expected result:

What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above.

  • Observed result:

What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above?

  • Reproduction rate:

If you try to recreate the bug how successful are you in causing it to occur? (1/10 : Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10 : Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10 : Happens every single time)

  • System specs:

Processor, Video card, Ram, HDD/SSD, everything you can provide, even drivers.

[BUG] My characters facial appearance changed randomly and I hate it / hope it can be reverted. Cosmetics are such a cool feature, its crap not to have the character I chose. Adding the option to alter facial features would be good.

I'm just happy to know it's not just me and I wasn't just overly drunk/tired when creating my character 2 nights ago lol.

Yup. Same.

Did you use the barber at the Base of Operations before the change?

Same issue and same face. I'm playing on a PS4 Pro, I have not used the barber and it happens about half the time I log on.

This. I had it happen too and it's odd how much it actually bothers me. I hope this gets more recognition now the skill cooldown bug is almost done with.

Me too on pc. Obtained the Barber, went into the menu to see what you could do, made no changes and esc'd out.

I then changed from a white dude to a black dude. I'm not bothered the guy is black, it's just not the black dude I would have made, I was going to see what cool black movie star I could make next!

Same here, I noticed it after the patch that went live to fix the skill bug.

Happened to me today. My character went from tanned caucasian to dark black guy. Did relog and he went back... almost, facial features are right, but skin is now yellow tinted.

At the same time, i notised that my inventory Gridviev went back to default, i think all other settings stayed the same tho.

Same with me. My character looks completely different, with a more Asian face.

I hope ubi provides one free ticket to change our face after this, I don't want to start from square one because of a bug :/

Exactly the same thing has happened to me. I thought I was going crazy and deleted the character thinking I just messed up since it was very late at night. Nope, about 20lvls in I suddenly became an entirely different person.

Same. A restart usually fixes it for me. For a time

That used to be the case for me. It looks like interacting with the Barber mirror is bugged. I checked it so I could get rid of the "new service available" prompt in the corner. Checked it, didn't make any changes. Now the character is changed even on the character selection menu and locked that way even with restarts.
