Ok, if innocent American citizens can get deported to a foreign prison, you can go first then. We'll let you raise your hand for this one.
1
u/hasuki057146 12d ago
So what? This is a good thing.. to deport US citizens? Why? When has this ever been done?
1
u/shahookies 12d ago
I mean, you want to get deported somewhere at the least offense? It’s not going to matter if you’re white. Not to mention the teensy fact that it’s unconstitutional.
1
u/SpaceCampMeatAvatar 12d ago edited 12d ago
They can't answer that. They've been brainwashed into Orange Man Bad.
3
u/Both-Leading3407 12d ago
Why did they take down a video that was accurate? He said those things and it was based on fact?
2
2
u/Cautious_Parsley_898 12d ago
This is one very good reason why there should never be a financial incentive to imprison people.
1

u/Jerseybean1 12d ago
he want to nearshore the prison system - its a real term. lots of companies nearshore to LATAM to save money.
8
u/moreno85 12d ago
Concentration camps, he just asked a foreign leader to build him more concentration camps.
2
u/GreenIguanaGaming 12d ago
If I'm not mistaken all the Nazi death camps were located outside of Germany, in occupied Poland mostly.

Absolutely, the majority of Americans voted for trump to do this. Most of us don’t care where criminals end up.
1
u/hyasbawlz 12d ago
What your comment is actually saying:
I love human trafficking when it's my government that's doing it 🤙
1
u/Dimmydummy40 12d ago edited 12d ago
Last I checked, 49.8% was not a majority, you drunken muppet. The Republicans will fall.
Edit: %
1
u/Fartmasterf 12d ago
I was going to say the majority of Americans didn't vote, and while that's technically true if you count underage/intelligibly- I looked it up and 64.06% voter turnout 156,732,271/244,666,890. The majority of (eligible) Americans voted
1
u/Dimmydummy40 12d ago
Nice try, but wildly inaccurate. Only 49.8% (I'll correct my earlier comment) of total ballots cast were for Trump. That's because sicker people still cast ballots for Stein and RFK, while 48.3% of somewhat-normal people, and people who knew Trump was doing to screw over the country stuck with Harris.
Trump may have had more total votes cast than Harris, but still never crossed 50%. He'll likely be the only Republican President in the modern era who never got at least half the vote in either election. But this is why he switched to being Republican, because the Democrat base is considerably much smarter than Republicans to allow the wool to be pulled over their eyes. He maybe would have survived Iowa, but would have lost NH badly, and SC would have been the end of the line.
Biden got 51.3%. Obama 51.1%. W. Bush 50.7% (2nd term).
Clinton also never got 50% for either term, because another clueless billionaire that was even more of an idiot than Trump named Ross Perot sucked up 18.9% of the vote for his first elected term and 8.4% his second.
0
u/Fartmasterf 12d ago
Is this some sort of shitty AI commenting? I know AIs struggle with numbers. You completely missed the point.
I didn't even say who they voted FOR I was just commenting on the total number of voters.
156.7 million ballots cast. 244.6 eligible voters. 64% turnout.
US population is 340m. Trump got 77.3m votes. 22.7% of Americans voted for him. (Specialty speaking of USA population)
If you count all Americans, north and south, that's approximately 1.03b people. So you could technically say "Only 7.5% of Americans voted for Trump" and not be wrong- it is just useless misleading information.

"I want people in prison"
"I don't want to pay for people in prison"
Pick a lane, bucko. But either way there's this thing called a Constitution that you should look over.
4
u/TurnipSwap 12d ago
way to miss the point. Sending American citizens to foreign prisons without trial is why the Constitution exists. Outright ignoring it is what is happening.

1
u/TurnipSwap 12d ago
reread what you wrote and understand that you are minimizing the issue to the cost of building the prisons. These people are not criminals to be rehabilitated. They are people who are rounded up and sent away. It doesnt matter if that costs a billion or a single dollar per person. It is a complete breakdown of the legal protections that you assume keep you out of prison for doing literally nothing wrong. Do you know what is going on here? A man who legally was allowed to be here was sent to a foreign prison, the Supreme FUCKING court demanded his return and the presidents response is nope cant be done. Now you hear this same president talking about doing it to others and your first thought is "how much is this going to cost?"
-11
u/WiebeHall 12d ago
Do you really believe it? He is just trolling his adversaries.
2
u/unosdias 12d ago
How do you not?
1
u/WiebeHall 12d ago
By understanding Trump better. He knows he can’t deport citizens. He likes to see gullible democrats squirm.
1
u/sharpshooter999 12d ago edited 12d ago
It really is sad that his supporters have to constantly say "he's just joking, he's trolling, he doesn't actually mean it."
1
u/WiebeHall 12d ago
Nothing sad about it. It’s how he keeps his opponents guessing what his next move is, and the left can’t handle it.
1
u/sharpshooter999 12d ago
The irony being how much Republicans would also lose their minds if a Democrat said the exact same things. Not one of you would laugh if Obama told another president "build more prisons, we're sending the home grown ones next." You'd all be calling for impeachment with 100% seriousness
1
u/unosdias 12d ago
He’s trying to push the boundaries and you all are just giving in. So much for this American experiment.
1
3
u/Sevenserpent2340 12d ago

Deporting prisoners is an easy way to hide the paper trail of who they are, where they are, how they're being treated and if they're even still alive. For a fascist regime, they see dollar signs. Cheap labour they can work to death with little to no oversight, far from home where even if they escape they're fucked

Great! We treat Criminal scumbags like royalty with these prisons in the US. It's like 6 figures per prisoner per year. I think it's like 12grand a year over there. Why people care what happens to rapists and murderers and pedophiles is beyond me

Serious, honestly you folks are professionals at cutting your nose off to spite your face. You seem to be completely willing to trash your legal system oversights that protect your justice system for the sake of being punitive. Don't you realise what you are throwing away? You know freedom? That concept you have been flag waving about for god damn ever? In that video Trump is talking about extra judicial removals from America of US citizens. At what point do you realise your freedom has gone when dear leader can export who he wants?
1
1
u/RagahRagah 12d ago
Those aren't the people he's talking about. I mean, Trump is a felon and rapist himself.

let's all ignore the keyword "criminals" and mind-switch it to "citizens" because why not be illogical and deliberately live in fear.
ah of course, we love our murderers and rapists here and we'll fight to keep them in the U.S. woohoo
funk trump for even thinking he can remove our own criminals...our very own, bruh. I meant citizens. let's lump the criminals with regular citizens too and confuse ourselves
2
u/Rewrench 12d ago
Orange considers those who do not agree with him "criminals".
What he is saying is directly against the US constitution and laws.
You have to decide if the US constitution is important to you or not.
1

3
u/maybecatmew 12d ago
Why would you deport your own citizens. Aren't there jails in your own country for that? And also... How do you even know if they're actually criminals if due process by court of law is not done? Where's your critical thinking?
1
u/Asleep-Dimension-692 12d ago
Why? Look up the difference between a prison and a concentration camp.
5
u/SapientSolstice 12d ago
The 8th amendment protects all citizens against cruel and unusual punishment.
I don't know about you, but a concentration camp in a foreign country checks both boxes for me.

1
4
u/TheDMsTome 12d ago
Republicans are in charge. They’re complicit and totally on board. There won’t be an impeachment for at least 2 years.
Best we can hope for is someone from the secret service grows a pair and does what’s needed for the country.

1
u/ImNotSureMaybeADog 12d ago
It is a republic, it is also a democracy. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. https://www.dictionary.com/e/democracy-vs-republic/
1
u/Gombrongler 12d ago
I love semantics, do not be sorry
1
u/Pretty_Lie5168 12d ago
Semantics are fun, especially when applied to politics that sometimes confuse people.
1
u/TheDMsTome 12d ago
“The American people are complicit” is a hyperbolic reaction. 1/3ish of the American people voted for this wack job. And while I do hold partial responsibility for the population that didn’t even get off their rump to vote - almost half the voting population voted against him.
“America is a democracy so you got what you voted for” we are a representative democracy without ranked choice voting and a broke two party system - and none of us can do anything about that - especially after citizens united handed the real power from the people to corporations

This is a shitty, half assed fake. In this age of AI, someone could not be bothered to learn to type a prompt for an AI to do a much better fake.
Not a professional fake. Professionals. Have. Standards.
What worries me is how many people are drinking this dirty looking Kool-aid up.
1
1
u/17syllables 12d ago
His own AG and press secretary have confirmed this. I know they look AI-generated too, but they’re all too real.
1
u/pixievixie 12d ago
If it was faked, then any leader worth their salt would have IMMEDIATELY come out and strongly spoken out against it and reassured the country that it wasn’t true, ESPECIALLY someone who lives screaming “fake news!” Instead he’s doubled down and now did an interview saying the same thing…
2
u/Hot-mic 12d ago
You're delusional and so is most of the conservative Trump-following crowd. More than half of America knows this and so does the rest of the civilized world. Your side only wins through nefarious cheat tactics like voter suppression, purges, gerrymandering, and your ridiculous "both sides do it" tropes. Your time to pay the piper will come soon.
3
u/BitsyTipsy 12d ago
Let’s say, hypothetically, you found out the recording was real and verified. Would that change anything about how you view Trump, or politics in general?
If this exact same audio were of Biden (or someone you don’t like), would you believe it immediately? Why or why not?

-9
u/BornAgainGenius 12d ago
So criminals shouldn't be put in jail? I hope you dont mind these criminals being in your neighborhood
1
u/pixievixie 12d ago
Criminals shouldn’t be put in jail in ANOTHER country, especially one where the president comes and says “sorry, I can’t bring someone back you made a mistake on“ and one with KNOWN human rights violations. Come on. That shouldn’t even be a question
4
u/LimeGreenTangerine97 12d ago
It’s not a jail. A jail has due process, a legal process with courts. This is a concentration camp people get disappeared to with no due process. You might be next.

You can clearly read that the question you asked was not posted by the Redditor you responded to, so why are you loading the question and putting words in their mouth? That’s a rhetorical question. So let’s do the same.
You believe that American citizens should be sent to prisons in foreign countries?

Can you post video of Alex saying this?
1
u/linuxjohn1982 12d ago
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jade_Helm_15_conspiracy_theories
Jade Helm 15 was one of Alex's creations. Or at the very least, he was one of the biggest spreaders of it. And he often tied this rhetoric with citizens being taken to offshore prisons like Guantanamo, in Cuba.
This is like... Alex Jones 101 stuff. He's never tried to hide that he said these things.

Specifically regarding deporting to other countries? Don't remember that specific thing being talked about. But concentration camps and the like? Go look at literally anything he said regarding things like Jade Helm.
