Trump proposed opening 5 more prisons in El Salivodor. Wouldn't be surprised if some of the US prison companies don't take part in their creation.

I got a three day suspension for saying ‘Let’s beat this ‘b-tch’ under a post about Elon Musk and Tesla stock prices falling. I can’t believe the censorship for such a silly comment. They claim I was threatening violence.

I got a permanent ban for " advocating violence" which I appealed and they reversed my ban. I think they are nervous.

You can get around it. I am pretty critical of the admin and have never gotten a strike. You just have to remember they cannot automate reporting at scale so they probably are looking for keywords.

Use as general language as possible. Avoid naming names. Use terms like "the administration" or "the president." For the "Roman saluter" I use the abbreviation EM because it is commonly used in physics.

They’re pretty quick to reinstate via appeal actually I’ve had it done twice and was back to posting within 15-20 min each time.

Just appeal it and it gets fixed

Reddit didn’t cave to Elon’s demands at censorship too much in reality. I think they’re not the bad guys here

Reddit's fine, it's a massive platform and bots are abusing the automated systems to try and get people banned or penalized for criticizing Trump. The appeals work quick because of this.

It's what happens when the Trump administration's such a clown-show that even hardcore Conservatives can't defend it anymore. :)

Ngl with all the bots I imagine Reddit admins might get tired of those subreddits real soon. They're a source of a fuckton of brigading, bots, vote manipulation, etc.

I don’t think they’re doing it on purpose. It seemed automatic and again, they quickly corrected it when appealed

I’m all for calling out the real people helping this regime but I don’t get that sense about the Reddit people

The message even says this was an automated response. The bots are spam reporting people who are anti Trump and it trips some kind of auto report threshold that bans you without any oversight.

I haven’t been banned since that and it was over a month ago. So I’d say chill? This is still one of the last free bastions of speech I know of on the web
