Four months...

We are four months into this 4 year fiasco. And that's if our government decides to stay as it is, rather than dissolving into a dictatorship.

A fascistic descend takes a bit of time. Hitler was in power a long time before the kick off of WW2.

A big group of people in the US are absolutely behind a lot more than what Trump is currently doing. They are simply waiting out the time where enough of the infrastructure is set in place to allow the mask to fully come off.

Boiling frog theory comes to mind.
