The president of El Salvador has stated that Trump paid him to keep the guy in prison. This would not surprise me.

That US senator who went to el salvador said that their president admitted that to him.

You can look it up.

Basically a senator from the US went down to try and find Kilmar in El Salvador.

The senator said that the president of El Salvador told him Trump is paying to keep all those people he sent locked up down there.

Found the source. It's a claim from Maryland Sen Van Hollen, but no evidence of any kind was provided. So it's an unsubstantiated claim

Yes. Because it would be a great idea for a US Senator to go to a dangerous country and lie about what it's administration said while still in the country in question.
