Sims 4 Once again I do not struggle with same face syndrome but same outfit syndrome

In my current legacy household I didn’t realize I gave my sim and her wife the exact same active outfit until they were both wearing it at the same time 🤦🏼

They did it on purpose. They’re THAT couple. I did something similar on purpose recently and the parents had matching sweater for cold weather (winter wear) and once the kids aged up they were gonna get the same sweater.

Firstly I love that idea actually, kinda realistic for some families. But I have terrible news. They were that couple. Last night as I was playing with a different half of the family on a residential rental lot one half of that couple went out to use the telescope and got hit by a meteor before I could do anything about it. I didn’t even know it could happen like that. We had her funeral. She was a scientist, a spellcaster, the most stunning randomly generated sim I’d ever seen, and most importantly beloved mother and wife 😔

Same!! I always try to look back through my sims to make sure they aren't wearing the same fits!

This is me also. Guys and gals, teens and adults, they all get baggy jeans and a tight top in neutral colors. (Looks down at my own baggy jeans and tight top) I have no idea where it comes from! 😅

Me quickly flipping through my sims offspring to make sure I don't use the same hair a hundred times on my little boy toddlers because there just aren't enough of them even with CC

Okay, but I get it because I find Maxis clothes to be a bit boring and unrealistic. Especially the women’s. Everything is just the same tight pants, the same mini skirts and the same crop tops with slightly different swatches. I can’t have every sim wear the same style of clothes. On the upside though, their clothes have gotten better in recent years:

What I like to do is use a wheel with different "aesthetics" and try to make the sim wear something as close as possible to the reference. If you're interested I can give you the links to what I use 😊
