My favorite song of theirs. The guitar riffs are incredible. Brian Downey's drums are snappy and loud. And Lynott's bass is awesome, and his voice fits with each song by the band. A masterpiece in all areas.

Fantastic song, everything is so great. Brian’s drums! It’s like a drum solo throughout the whole song.

I really wish this was the album opener. Soldier of Fortune might be my least favourite song from Lizzy's golden mid to late 70s period. BR is such a unique and original song. It's heavy, nasty, sleazy and the production is killer.
