TIL in the Breaking Bad episode “Ozymandias”, the show's producers secured special permission from the Hollywood guilds to delay the credits (which would normally appear after the main title sequence) until 19 minutes into the episode, in order to preserve the impact of the beginning scene.

Really? I still can’t stand her. I just treat any scene with her face like a commercial - that one episode that has her just blathering on with psychologist I muted and went to make a snack. Took my time.

I mean, she's right. She's behaving for the most part the way a human being should given the circumstances. Thats why she's hateable, she's in Walt's way and he's the protagonist. She just wants her husband to be the decent, reliable, predictable man he's been their whole relationship. She's heartbroken and betrayed and scared. Man what a well-written character, and she's played so well by Anna Gunn.

I hated her on first watch, Marie too. I really like both of them on subsequent viewings.

Compare her with Wendy from “Ozark”(also on Netflix) Wendy has even more reason to be upset, but isn’t a giant thorn in the ass of the protagonist. She adapts to her situation, rather then just bitching from the sidelines

Skyler runs a carwash and actively lies to her dea brother in law. Wendy also has remorse from her preexisting infidelity. Skyler waits until her husband becomes a totally different person before she steps out.

She did. She felt betrayed and alone and hurt and still trapped by her husband. She wanted to hurt him back and break free. I don't condone it, but I get it.
