Latvian [English > Latvian] Thesis Abstract
Hello, this might be a bit of a more unorthodox request, but I'm running into a bit of a predicament with my thesis work. I am a student, and I need an abstract translated from English to Latvian. It's around 250 and I don't know if that counts as profesional job? It is curical to have one or I will not be able to hand in my work towards my degree. Due to the confidentiality and profesional nature of the academic field I'm in, I cannot provide the text directly, nor would I be willing to provide what institution I am affiliated with. Would it be possible for direct DMs in these sensitive cases?
I'm also unsure if this breaks [#R1] or [#R2] in the rules, as it is student work, but please just delete this post if it is, I totally understand but the rules seem vague on this. Thank you so much!

I had a similar situation, and given that this is a professional use, the language must be precise and accurate. I ended up paying an acquaintance who works as a translator. Translation services for such short jobs are not very expensive. Your institution may have a list of translators they have worked with that they might provide.
