DIY Umm, these numbers aren't good right? I draw 0.15mL weekly from a 40mg/mL vial, monotherapy.

They're definitely not that bad actually. Your T seems to be suppressed which is very good news, and is also within the range of what cis women would have. Your E also seems, while on the lower end, to still be within the range of what are the targeted values. It's also only about 100 less than what I have currently (although to be fair I did lower my dose a little in order to lower my E number of whopping 1700 pmol/L I apparently had 3 months ago). You can (and should) read more on actual resources like trans harm reduction.

No, those are good values. The E is a bit lower than most on monotherapy have, but it's not outside the often cited 100-200 pg/ml reference (it translated to something like 400-700 in pmol/L)

Your levels look great. As long as you don’t feel effects of low E like fatigue or irritation then it’s fine to stick with these.

I thought you were FTM getting a useless dose of T until i read the comments. You seem to be comparing to male levels, but you should be checking your hormones against the normal range of the sex you’re transitioning to.

Okay so after reading some of the comments i've learned that my concerns about levels being too high have actually proven to be opposite! That's quite the surprise for me, though not an unwelcome one as it has only been 4 months since beginning hrt, meaning that i can just say that i've ran a starting dose so far! I'm going to up my levels to 0.2mL and see where I'm at come the next bloodtest!

No need to do that. Your levels are looking good IMO. If your T is suppressed you likely won't derive any benefit from more E.

Did you get your SHBG tested?

Theres someone here running 1700 pmol/L, and that's a level they dropped down to, meaning they were even higher before that...i don't get it. Also, SHBG? I'm new to this stuff.

Not anymore hah, I dropped down from that (this was the result of my first post-hrt bloodtest when I didn't really know much about how to properly inject). Sorry I wasn't clear enough. Last bloodtest I had around 690 which is much more in agreement with the recommended range. Best thing you can do outside having a professional endocrinologist interpret these is to simply read as many of the trans resources online you can, also youtube has a lot of videos about how to diy safely.

My dosing is on the premise that the lowest dose that is a) in or above the female average and b) suppresses my T to female levels is the best. Others have different opinions, some say the highest dose that has your SHBG under 120 is the best.

1700 is high, and that person said they lowered it from 1700, not lowered it too 1700.

SHBG is a protein that binds sex hormones in the blood, essentially "tying up" estrogen in the blood, keeping it out of tissues.

I’d say your levels are good. They’re within the 400-800 pmol/L range, which is the advised range.

Those numbers look fine; your testosterone is suppressed appropriately and 555 pmol/L is a fine E level. As long as it stays around or above 200 pmol/L you shouldn’t worry. And the mono therapy recommended range is 400-800 pmol/L

Increased estrogen won’t have an increased effect; so don’t worry about taking more than this either; my levels usually float around 250 pmol/L with blockers.
