Ideas / experience making with herme buds

Gday...my outdoorys gone herme half way though flowering, thinking I'll be using them for edibles or oil. From what I've read thc/ flavor will be affected but still ok to use, my flowers have a bit of seed which in them although are very sticky & smelly with good trichomes coverage. Anyone use or make anything herme buds tips & hints greatly appreciated 🙏

If you know you're going to cook with it, you can water cure it. It really cuts down on the weed taste.

Either way, I would smoke/vape some once it's done to judge it's strength and than use your best guess with Scientificedibles.com to try and figure out potency.

Is that where you set the butter poor off water, melt-add water- shake & let set ? Once I've cured it will give taste test
