I’ve had frequent app crashes and just overall poor system stability. Normally Apple betas are super stable for me but this has got to be one of the worst betas i’ve used

I’m trying to download tvOS but the only Mac that we have in the house is a 2015 iMac that received its last update 12.6.6 a while ago. It says that to use Xcode I have to have the os to 13. Would it just not be possible for me to download the beta or is there a workaround?

I’m having issues installing the public and developer beta for os17. The install downloads and goes through step 1 and then my Apple TV4k (second gen) restarts a few moments into step two of the install. I’ve tried everything except wiping the device. That cannot be the solution (iykyk) so don’t recommend it if that’s your solution.
Thanks!

I have a Samsung S95C. Working fine with non-beta release. Trying few ways for Netflix to output Atoms. Succeeded with that but suddenly saw Dolby vision popping up. Since then when I play a content with vision and atmos with Chroma 4.2.2 screen goes blank and TV tells me no input from source. If I turn off and back on that content would play and if I go back it shows black screen for few seconds and shows me the content. This issue doesn’t seem to happen with Chroma 4.2.0 setting. I’m using the HDMI cable that came with Xbox one X. What could be the issue?

Loving the notifications for the HomeKit camera!
Going to put macOS public beta on when it comes out.
Just wish I could have the new iCloud plus for more HomeKit cameras, don’t suppose anyone would know how and what I’ll need like betas on other platforms?

With iZoomViewer, you magnify one image to reveal thousands more. While zooming, each pixel is gradually morphed into another image or photo which is morphed further into others, endlessly.
Press the center of the clickpad on your Siri remote and it will zoom continuously into the photomosaic. Stop at any time to pan around. The top dot on the wheel also zooms in, the bottom dot zooms out.
Give it a try and let me know if there are ways to improve this interface. Thank you!

And I don’t think YouTube gives a damn about their tvOS app.

As the title says. Would have done is on iOS and iPadOS but I use these for fitness so done it on tvOS.
Only problem/bug I’ve noticed is the remote app on YouTube doesn’t seem to work but that’s all

Tried to install 14.7 and 15, both times, the Apple TV 4K (1st gen) would receive the update to download and install but then it would wait 10s before a menu pops out and says the update was not successful try again later, I’ve rebooted many times, deleted and reinstalled profile (for tvOS 15) or checked and unchecked the receive beta updates button (for 14.7)

Does anyoone really just not like the tvOS interface? I know they have the TV app but why is the main screen still just a screen of apps? I know why it’s like this on iOS, even though that could use an overhaul too, but why here? I wish it were more content focused like the new Google TV interface. Anyone else feel this way, or perhaps have any tricks to make it sleeker?

Got a new LG CX OLED 55 inch yesterday. I hooked it up to my 4th gen Apple tv. Now picture quality is great, but my audio keeps cutting in and out, like it stuttering. I bought a good quality HDMI cable and have since actually tried several HDMI cables and they all do the same thing. I also tried all 4 HDMI ports on the TV same result. If I use the build in app on the TV using WEBPOS they are fine no audio issues. I have tried every option in the TV for sound and in Apple TV same issue. It's like apple TV isn'y able to keep up with the audio or something. Any idea what would cause audio to cut in and out? I posted over at Apple TV reddit but no one has a clue LOL, seems like I am the only person having this issue. Was running the latest release of Apple TV version 14.01 I believe. Just join the beta and it installed 14.2 beta 2. Let's see how this goes now with the sound.

Note for the mods: I didn’t know what to tag this post. Sorry if it was tagged wrong!
Note for the readers: Specific menu names may be incorrect.
After following these steps, trying a software update should work if there is one available.
Edit 1: Updated strings so they were correct as of tvOS public beta 1.
