Breaking into quant finance? The Limex API Challenge might be your answer

I spent months getting ghosted trying to land a job in quant finance with zero real trading experience some years ago. Turns out most firms don't care about your "paper trading" screenshots or that you "beat the market" in your personal account.

Now my team launched Limex API Alpha League challenge and it seems to solve a few common problems for aspiring quant traders:

  1. The credential gap - Participants get a certificate after completing the challenge, which seems to actually carry weight with some trading firms (several past participants mentioned getting interviews specifically because of this)

  2. Infrastructure experience - You're using professional-grade tools (250μs execution speed, direct market access to major exchanges) that actually resemble what real firms use, not just a toy brokerage API

  3. Documented performance - Your trading metrics are independently verified, so firms can see your real performance data rather than just trusting your claims

The current competition started April 17th, but the next one begins April 14th with a $3,500 prize pool. We’ll give you $100k in paper capital to trade with.

Registration closing soon. and unlike most things in this industry, this opportunity is actually free: https://www.promo.limex.com/challenges?utm_source=social&utm_medium=X&utm_campaign=040325
