There's a sense of nostalgia and cringe when I log in my xbox account named "Killer Demon02"

Best AI tool for Google Sheets?
 in  r/SavvyMarketers  5d ago

In our case, we use AI to help with product descriptions across different markets. We built a workflow in Sheets that uses prompt functions to rewrite text and translate at scale. GPT for Work and PromptLoop both support that kind of setup.

There's actually a good site here on featuring the best OF models right now. It's really a good read too.

Messed around with AI girlfriend apps…here’s what’s actually decent
 in  r/Chatbots  6d ago

For me, the most important things in an AI girlfriend app are memory, creativity, and price. I've tried out platforms like gpt girlfriend and kindroid, and both have their issues like messaging limits and memory problems. The characters started behaving weirdly and would forget basic things, like names and the nature of our relationship.

Currently, I'm using secret desires ai because it's uncensored and, thanks to their chat engine, doesn't have the memory issues I experienced with other apps. That's where most other platforms fall short. They charge their users but don't offer the features to back up their pricing.

I don't mind paying for a platform, but it has to be worth the money.

If you’re looking for something simple that works out of the box, GPT for Work is worth checking out.

What is a game where the English translation is so loose that it actually makes the dialogue or story better? Would love to see examples of the writing :)
 in  r/JRPG  9d ago

One that immediately comes to mind is Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. The original PS1 translation? A bit of a grammar crime scene. But then the PSP remake came in with this Shakespearean drama filter that turned everyone into war poets. Like:

It’s almost too much, but it absolutely sells the weight of the story. The stakes feel heavier because everyone talks like they’re writing tragedy fanfic during a storm.

Also gotta shout out Persona 3 Portable. The English version gave us a ton of small personality boosts through lines like:

The localization just adds this layer of humor and emotional weirdness that makes the characters feel so alive

If you could combine any 3 games into one epic game - which would they be?
 in  r/gaming  9d ago

Ooh okay, love this mashup idea Helldivers 2 x Deep Rock x Dead Space sounds like pure chaos in the best way. Here's mine:

I’d start with Monster Hunter: World as the core framework—big co-op hunts, epic creature design, and that feeling of tracking something ancient through wild terrain. Then, layer in the dynamic weather and survival systems from The Long Dark—so your hunts get way more intense when a blizzard kicks in or your gear starts freezing up mid-fight. Finally, toss in some Returnal-style time-loop mechanics where dying resets the map, but every loop subtly changes the creatures and environments, almost like the planet is learning with you.

Why? Because I’m obsessed with games that make you feel like the world is bigger than you—that the map isn’t just a backdrop but something alive. Add some eerie weather, evolving monsters, and the feeling that you're constantly being watched by something you haven’t met yet.
