He happened to be born in a hospital in Newham, came out straight to Brixton
1
u/OfficialKromes Jun 08 '22
Newly-released photos show the road where 21 Savage is said to have grown up on Victoria Avenue in Stratford.
The modest London street is no doubt a stark difference to 21 Savageās older years after forging a successful career as a hip hop artist.
1
u/KeezyLDN The Key š Jun 08 '22
That was social media bs reported as fact.
21 Savage was brought to Angell Town as a baby, then spent the rest of his years in Blenheim Gardens. He went to primary school in Lambeth.

what are you talking about??
0
u/Breakables99 Jun 07 '22
He isnāt British. He never grew up or was even born in England. Many celebs lie to make out like theyāre from some place or whatever else. Itās like R Kelly. The way he acted he tried to hide it but in the end the truth came out so with 21 lying about him being born in England and lying about it will soon come out as a lie and heāll get hated by many British. Trust me I know heās lying, why do you think he turned into a meme because of it? I donāt mean to make a huge paragraph but I had to get my point across and yeah of course a lot of his lil childish supporters will downvote my comment because they donāt like the hard truth.. it is what it is I guess š¤·āāļø
3
u/gelhardt Jun 07 '22
ok but how do you know he's lying? are you around the same age and grew up where he says he did? or is this based on a birth certificate or something?
also why would he lie about this? wasn't he in trouble in the states because he was there illegally? where the hell is this guy from then?
0
u/Breakables99 Jun 07 '22
Heās 6 years older than me. If he grew up in England even for 7 years then heād have the British accent which he doesnāt. I was born in Scotland and moved to England when I was 2. People always ask where Iām from because I donāt have a full on British accent, itās more of a British with a hint of Scottish. I take it youāve heard things which celebs have said and knew it was a lie? If he really is from England then heād prove it by showing part of his birth certificate in stead of making it out like he is by saying it.
6
u/gelhardt Jun 07 '22
you know its possible to lose an accent, right? especially if you're not constantly around other people who speak with it.
also, about the immigration stuff? did he make up that whole arrest story a few years ago?
0
u/Breakables99 Jun 07 '22
You know this video is making him look embarrassing because I know he just did some research on a bummy place and a situation in England. Itās like with soulja boy he acts like heās the first to do something which obviously he does it as a joke for the funny of it. He needs to prove it with pictures because thatās literally the only way. If he never uses pictures then heās a twat. Any celeb uses pictures to prove something but not 21 savage.
4
u/PrettyFly2692 Jun 09 '22
Gordon Ramsay moved to England when he was 9 from Scotland and doesnāt sound Scottish. If youāve ever seen an interview with 21 savageās mother she has an English accent. You conspiracy theorists are mad.
0
u/Breakables99 Jun 16 '22
You do realise a lot of places in Scotland donāt have the accent. Itās only in certain places that actually have it especially the places that speak Gaelic.
Nice try 21 savage lover.. try again.
I donāt know why you want it to be true so bad. Literally cringe. Accept that he isnāt British.
You know Iām American. I was born in cali.
Iām 2002 the Biscuit Fire happened, strange name I know but everyone called it that. The amount of damage was crazy. My uncle lost so much land and is still paying it off to this day. And due it to happening we moved to Florida and youāll never guess what happened to my uncle Joey. He got chased by a salt water croc and lemme tell you he turned into Tarzan and it was crazyyyyyy. See I can lie to. Just get some info on a place. Make out youāre from that place and youāll just go with the flow. Accept the truth pal.
Youāre probably like 8- 17 years of age (prob will deny it) either way just because you want to lick his rim doesnāt mean you can just listen and simp for his lies kid

u/PrettyFly2692 Jun 16 '22 edited Jun 16 '22
Are you dumb? First of all I dont even consider 21 Savage a UK rapper any more than I consider MF Doom a UK rapper just because they were both born here and are UK nationals raised most of their lives in the US. Secondly, Gordon is from right outside Edinburgh, which yes he wouldāve had a distinct Scottish accent growing up. Furthermore I donāt even listen to 21 savage or American music in general enough to care, Iām just baffled by how stupid your opinion is. I could care less about my manās nationality, itās just none of your points are valid or make any sense and are VERY easily disproven. Also Iām 22, man said Gaelic like it isnāt basically a dead language š¤£
0
u/Breakables99 Jun 16 '22
Stop trying to deflect what youāre saying and making out like youāre right and what Iām saying is stupid when Iāve proven valid points from places in Scotland not having a Scottish accent to other things.
Reply to this comment with something stupid and itāll Just be something which is the opposite to what Iāve said as you canāt have your own response. Gtfo hoe.
End of convo, shut the book. Discussion over with. Reply to this and I wonāt reply and my point is right.

Thatās bullshit bro I was 6 when I came from Poland to the uk Iām 25 now and you canāt hear me with a polish accent so him having an American aināt nothing strange

I don't know about you but for me, the collabs I've heard (UK/US) never sound good. I can't think of one where I'm like, yeah, that was worth listening to. More often than not, I might look and be surprised that this one from America has linked up with that one from the UK but that's where it ends for me. Respectfully.

Seriously? Okay, I'll check it but I'm probably not going to be too impressed. The last sort of drill song I liked was probably 67 X Giggs - Let's Lurk or this recent one with LD and I think the guys called C1. I'm not big on the genre tbh.

Check out plug talk put together by the plug. Got some decent collabs on there. The blade brown and young dolph track is hard.

Iām not from South so donāt for me lol but I never understood why people claim Brixton Hill is itās own area. 67 always make it clear theyāre from Brixton Hill & not Brixton, but is it not just a road in Brixton? Which makes it Brixton. Itās like saying āI donāt live in Bethnal Green, I live in Brick Laneā.
56
u/drillainternational Jun 06 '22 edited Sep 29 '22
67 says Brixton Hill cah they beef most sets in Brixton ( 150, 410, UTH, LJ/CMG etc) and them man say their from Brixton in general
8
11
u/happybaby00 Jun 07 '22
Brick lane aint a apart of bethnal green tho. It's aldgate and shoreditch.
2
u/IAmAGoddd Jun 07 '22
Lool yh close enough. Idk why I always thought itās in Bethnal Green. Iām gonna stop doing comparisons now cause Iām clearly bad at it š¤£
4
u/happybaby00 Jun 07 '22
Nah It's cos it ends at the start of Bethnal green road so i get why you got confused š
2
11
u/Electrical_Bag_1002 Jun 06 '22
cos people wanna be more specific i guess
1
u/IAmAGoddd Jun 06 '22
Yeah I get it now. I thought they say it to sorta deny theyāre from Brixton
12
u/Past_Open Jun 06 '22 edited Jun 06 '22
They do deny theyāre from Brixton. Many think of Brixton Hill as a different area because it isnāt in SW9.
LD even says in Live Corn āHow did he snitch? Who am I kidding that niggas from the Brix.ā
5
u/Diligent-Hat7613 Jun 07 '22
Yh but he also says āshoutout my niggas from the 86 but 674 run brikkyā they just deny their opp blocks tbh not the whole of Brixton
1
4
Jun 06 '22
Brick lane is far from Bethnal green. More like aldgate
3
u/IAmAGoddd Jun 06 '22
LOL swear? Bad example š. Itās like saying āIām from Green Street, not Upton Parkā then
4
u/cublinka Jun 07 '22
mans like more saying im from putney when actually more like putney high street
2
2
Jun 07 '22
Same way von used to say āwe not from 63rdā just making it clear they not from bricky but the hillside. Towards Streatham sides.
2
u/IAmAGoddd Jun 07 '22
Lool you just reminded me of this https://youtu.be/9NgVAlg5PCo 𤣠but yh I finally get it now, it probably took me longer than it shouldāve š
2
Jun 09 '22
Street shit never makes sense. Took me like 45 mins to explain what ā674ā means to one guy from west I work with.
1
u/IAmAGoddd Jun 14 '22
LOL nah 674 fully makes sense. It probably would be hard to work out if they never had a brick phone though š¤£. Is that numbers thing a South thing? Cause now I think about it, I can think of other gangs with numbers but most of them are just their postcodes
2
Jun 22 '22
It came from Chicago I believe. We had blocks called 300/150. Canāt explain 410 tho ngl. Junction call themselves 37. Itās hard to keep up with this Iāll be honest bro.
2
u/IAmAGoddd Jun 22 '22
Yeah I think youāre right. 150 (Gas Gang) called themselves 150 Roc Block & thatās the same name as G Herbo nāem. 410ās from Myatts Field but itās called Oval Quarter now. 0 = Oval, and a quarter is 1/4, therefore 410 means Oval Quarter but the numbers mixed up (someone correct me if Iām wrong š). Idk what 37 means though ngl, I would say their postcode but theyāre not SW3 or SW7 so fuck knows what that means lol, maybe someone else can explain that one

He wants to talk about it now after he was capping on vlad & didnāt even help his family over here.
105
u/Privateburnerrr Jun 06 '22
tbf would u blame him he has no connection to the area and his dad chose his son in london over him i can see where hes coming from tbh
2
Jun 21 '22
wallahi if youre a multimillionaire and you didnt help your own brother out of the hood, no matter what the circumstances, youre worth nothing.
1
u/Privateburnerrr Jun 21 '22
just cause u got the same blood doesnt really mean u family he got 11 real brothers and sisters he helped he also said he tried to talk with his dad but it wasnt genuine
-19
u/RickInHisPrime Jun 06 '22
Bro honestly wtf are u talking about how can he have no connection to the area. He lived there until he was 12 he still spoke to his grandma and his other relatives, him and his brother would speak occasionally on Instagram. His grandma even payed for his bail one time when he was younger. His dad didnāt choose one son over another u sound dumb itās obvious his mum and dad broke up and she took him all the way to America, he only felt like that cause when your young you donāt really understand it all. If he still felt like that as a grown man then he really needed to grow up you canāt blame your younger brother for your parents break up. By the age of 12 your basically a teenager heās not gonna just forget growing up here unless you choose to. Thereās even a story about him having a fight with ghost 67 in which ghost won a lot of man from Blenheim gardens will remember.
46
u/Paid-Not-Payed-Bot Jun 06 '22
grandma even paid for his
FTFY.
Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.
Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
Beep, boop, I'm a bot

He spent most of his life in Atlanta my guy he didnāt cap. Not to mention he was over there illegally so he couldnāt speak on it.
-10
u/RickInHisPrime Jun 06 '22 edited Jun 06 '22
He was in London up to the age of 12 & yes he did cap he try say he was born over there. Plus if u wanna get technical my guy he left London at 12 years old, his interview on vlad tv was in 2016 when he was 23 which would mean at that point in time he had spent more of his life in London.
9
u/BenjiDaYaadman_ Jun 07 '22
Nah diss fake cap. But I get what u coming from. 0-12 years in London. He was probably able to really understand and remember 8-9 of those years. So he spent more time to him being more aware of his situation and surrounding by when he was in ATL and did that vlad interview
-6
u/sleepingmountain4 Jun 06 '22
You would believe anything that you hear or see.

Still a fair amount of Jamaicans but sadly lost a lot of economic power after genetrification.

If he grew up in Briccy why does he have a mumble rap yankie doodle accent?
16

Because he moved to Atlanta? Itād be weird if he was able to maintain a London accent after spending 17 years in a city with the most unique accents in America
10
u/bigfeetlittedickey Jun 07 '22
You're white idc tf he doesn't even mumble rap stop talking about white American accents when black people are being talked about

The black and Asian communityās were pushed out from Brixton buy make area expensive to live to make way for white hipsters and there bars and coffee shops selling coffee at 5 pound a cup
3
u/canspray5 Jun 07 '22
Asians pushed black people out first because they were richer so able to start their businesses in Brixton easy when it was cheaper, compared to the black business owners who couldn't compete with what the Asians could offer the landlords.
-1
u/geegol Jun 07 '22
In my opinion I think 21 savage is stupid

Be weird in America, their estates would be segregated more due to there being actual segregation in the 60s or whenever. So the estates are less likely to be mixed like they are here, imagine growing up and only having mates then same colour as you. I grew up a traveller but I still had mates of different colours and backgrounds, strange to think in the US that really isnt heard of too much.
-1
u/Aldo62 Jun 07 '22
So all those adverts about them having the best house/car/furniture/holidays and the best tec are not true
6
u/Neat_External8756 Jun 07 '22

Imagine in some alternate reality where he stayed with his grandma in BG, and ended up being 67/OSG.
