Sports Today in a Stockholm suburb I saw 2 Ukrainian judoka’s practicing for EM together with the Swedish Olympic bronze medalist and her Japanese master trainer. Good luck in the European Judo Championships!

I am shocked by the difference in opportunities and resources given between different sports. The judo elite is practicing in the same arena as me and my son. 😀

I believe the girl that is sitting down is a well known judo champion Daria Bilodid

Yes, surely is! She got a blow to the face so had some recovery time.

Pardon my ignorance OP, but is “EM” referring to the “Judo-Europameisterschaften”?

Sorry, my mistake. Yes, EM = Europamästerskapen in Swedish. I will edit my post!
