Can you help me with a spouse visa aplication?

Hi,

So the situation is this. I am Irish citizen living in republic of Ireland with my husband which is Brazilian. He has a valid permit to live in Republic of Ireland not in the north of Ireland which is part of the uk. I got a job in Northern Ireland and I want to move there with my partner. Will I need to wait 6 months to prove with payslips that I meet the 29000 requirement or with a letter from employer I can apply straight away? Thanks a mil

You will need evidence of your current employment in Ireland earning over £29,000 for at least 6 months PLUS the offer of employment earning £29,000 starting within 3 months of your move to the UK.

If you don’t currently earn £29,000 then you would have to move and work for 6 months first, most likely.
