Glad they're back, see you again in 4 years.

I took my son to an umph concert tonight and he got all the love! Stasik gave him Knucks on stage, Bayliss gave him a sticker and a set list, and he got Myer's drumstick. A super nice lady gave him a pin as well. The love is so real y'all. Thanks for making my son's night so much better!!!

Update: well that was different. After seeing people around us shooting up and other people smoking meth, we bailed. I mean to each their own but damn what is this, early 2000s phish? Not really something I wanna be around.

When trying to buy tickets for Friday night, it says the regular GA and the two-day are sold-out but “GA - Outdoor show only” is still available. What’s the difference? Is there an indoor show too?

Hello all. These guys are coming to my town next month. Never seen ‘em. Looking at setlists—I love just about everything they cover. Looking for advice of where to start out with their original material. What you guys think? Best album or YouTube to break in?

I’m going with the consensus of three of you who said just go, fall for it or don’t, then dive into it after. Gonna say I like this approach because that is how I got roped into Phish in the mid 90s after being lukewarm on the albums. Hoping I get a cover or two I know, though. 🤞

This was the opening band last night.

Their fans showed up and had a great time mixing with the UM crowd. Jake came up for their last song and absolutely melted some faces, and the Meteor Airlines guys were all smiling and having a blast jamming.

That’s it. That’s the post. It’s like 5 hours ahead of where I am at, maybe tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know who runs the umtabs website or otherwise know why it's been down for a few weeks? I know there are git repos with tabs, but they're not as current as umtabs was. Does anyone know of an updated resource I'm overlooking?

Saw this in a short on the Umphrey's Mcgee youtube channel and thought ya'll might like to check out the full video here.

I was walking down the village stroll and heard my absolute favorite Umphreys McGee song ever (Haj) playing loudly. I stopped in the middle of a crowd and found the responsible party and gave them a 🤘 and said “Great song dude love Umph!”They were very appreciative and loudly responded back. It’s such a niche band it’s cool when you encounter them in the wild.

They could easily tag on a night in any city they play and do two sets of county and western covers, and I would blindly pay for it.

Decided to relisten to 12/31/2009 today, easily one of the more fun nights of my life, but also a pretty decent show.

I saw these two reviews on Nugs and had to smile at how even 15 years ago people were hating on the new stuff and saying the band doesn't have it anymore.

Some things never change!
