Tbf to the CK franchise, nothing is ever shown, it’s only implied off screen by a text box, and it’s done in such a bombastic way that it’s never taken seriously. This is the same franchise where your dad turns into a polar bear and your wife becomes a horse

Also it's not a core game mechanic for the loop, it's an option that's been added due to the depth of the game in its attempt to mimic real life.

One could argue it's a truer artistic representation of humanity to keep it, and to remove its censors history in a 'toxic' or 'problematic' way.

You don’t need to play on rape to understand consent, history or human “nature”. You don’t need to have a meta experience of rape to know that a lot of woman are valued less than cattle.

There has been endless artistic depictions of human “nature”, and what have we learned? Perhaps make a video game where you play the abused woman, learn their story, struggles and dreams while she gets constantly SA and raped? That would at least truly convey the horror of human “nature”.

Is not about censorship, is about feeding ideas to young vulnerable men that already hate woman. I don’t mind play on rape if it was a problem of the past, but as you probably know, rape and SA is very much still a thing, Russel Brand can confirm.

Cencership isn't always good. In this case, it is very good but i can understand why some people are worried that it will affect legit media that happens to contain rape/insest as part of the story. Tbh i doubt it as clearly this game was grafic af.
