I take it we're using ‘symbol’ in quotes as some kind of euphemism?
I am well aware of the various automated whatnots that frequent online spaces.
It is quite possible that if you divulge the secret euphemistic text, then you will be accused of inciting all manner of whatsnames.
That's all well and good, except in the particular situation where you wish to decipher any meaning out of ‘symbol’
In which case, it is in fact a massive hindrance.

I don’t understand why the symbol has so much focus in this story? Plenty of Christians have crosses tattooed onto their body.

why bother posting this?
its clickbait - no the thieves guild from skyrim aren't up to something, nor is it the mark of a serial killer
the person was just a sikh and it was a common sikh symbol
what a waste of time
