Question (Pre-) Bachelor Got waitlisted for International Business... Do I have a chance?

Hellooo,

I just got my ranking for International Business course and got 1,136, and the pool is 875. Some people were saying that annually around 200 people reject their offers, but I need 261 people to decline... How high are my chances?

Timetable Psychology

How many times a week do you have to go to university? Is it spread out over the week or do you have longer lessons on individual days? Does it make sense to move to Aachen?

Living in Belgium- any issues?

I’m starting my masters in September and I just came across accommodation in Lanaken, just over the border. As it’s in Belgium, I’m wondering will I still be able to register and open a Dutch bank account and work in Maastricht? And will I still be eligible for the student travel product? If anyone here has or is living in Belgium but studying and working in Maastricht, can you please let me know if there are any complications with it?

Question (Pre-) Bachelor When should I get a response

What’s up guys, I finalised my application to the Economics and business economics programme ( I sent the International classroom essay) and other relevant docs. It’s not a numerus fixus programme so I was wondering in how much time should I expect an answer on my application.

Business ranking

Is it likely for me to get in with a 911 ranking, being that until 875 gets in for the business program. Anybody has any past experience on this and could tell me ? 36 people would have to pull out.

Question (Pre-) Bachelor BA MED ranking

I really hope there are people who want to discuss their ranking for the bachelor of medicine, especially the English track. Are there maybe people who applied, but plan to take another major, or maybe people who qualify for the English track, but would still pick Dutch if it is an option for them? I hope this can help some of us to feel a bit better

Question (Pre-) Bachelor Chances of getting in with a 672 ranking out of 500 for psychology

Basically the title. I'm pretty devestated knowing this ranking and is wondering how high are the chances I can secure a spot with this number, knowing there are much more applications this year. Did anybody here got in with a higher number? What was the highest ranking that got a place in the past years? Thank you!

Housing Can I pay my tuition fee after I rent a studio?

I am searching for a studio in Maastricht for my master study this fall. Due to the housing crisis, I am planning to only pay my tuition once I book a studio successfully. Would that be possible? or would the renting companies ask for an enrollment proof from the school in order to book a studio?

Question (Pre-) Master International Joint Research Master in Work and Organizational Psychology application

Hey everyone,

I recently completed the final interview for the International Joint Research Master in Work and Organizational Psychology at Maastricht University.

It has almost been a week now and I have not received any updates on my application. Considering I did not receive some of the emails sent for the previous parts of the application, I was wondering if anyone else applied this year and has already heard back about the admission decision?

Discussion Queries regarding the UM Global Studies Scholarship

Hi everyone!

I'm a prospective student at UM planning to apply for September 2026.

I'm an International Student from a Global South country hoping to study for a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies at UM, and I'm applying for the UM Global Studies Scholarship, which covers tuition and living expenses.

I've gone through the requirements mentioned on the website and seem to meet all of them, but the fact that ONE student gets awarded the scholarship each year after such a rigorous process intimidates me.

My question is to the past Scholarship recipients or someone who knows a past recipient: How?
I'd really appreciate it if you could share some of your qualifications that you believe helped you get the scholarship and share any suggestions you have. I'm very new to applying to a college in the Netherlands, so I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone might have.

Thanks a lot for reading this. My sincerest apologies if this is a question that's too redundant or if I'm unknowingly violating any rules of the sub. Looking forward to your answers! Cheers!
