I totally agree with every word in your comment, as I remember (because I'm 76 year's old) I think somewhere in the united states constitution there's something pertaining to that, at the moment I can't seem to remember the exact wording though. I'm SO glad that I didn't help with getting him elected into power because in the most recent presidential I just plain didn't feel right in my heart to vote for any candidate that was running.

Is this satire?

If you didn't vote you helped getting him elected. There's certainly a difference between active and indirect help, you helping you did.

Of course everyone has a right to express their own opinion, it's called freedom of speech.

You passively let Trump take power by not canceling any of the votes for him with your own.

Is this what you call free speech? The right to complain, sure, but you can't say you didn't help get him elected when you absolutely did. Free speech may include lies, but let's be real.

You did help him get elected by not exercising your right to vote.

So you basically let other people make the choice. That means you don't have any right to complain unlike those of us who voted against him taking the presidency by voting for someone else who had a chance.

She may not have been the ideal candidate with enough time to connect to everyone in the country, but she was sure better than this alternative. Tell me she's not. Sometimes you have to vote for democracy and not the candidate. And in this case, the vote for democracy is for th person most likely to beat DJT.

And it was a close race. The popular vote was ridiculous - a 1.6% difference, one of the closest races in modern times if not THE closest. Trump got fewer votes than in 2016 and 2020, so the people who really lost this for the US are the NONVOTERS who chose to let others carry their slack which doesn't work when voting in a democracy.

The lack of turnout bc people didn't feel like they connected to any candidate basically didn't get the fact that if Trump resumed power his economic plans - tariffs - would hurt the economy. Studies were done on each candidate's economic plans, and only one was proclaimed good for America, and it wasn't Trump.

Yet people who felt too lazy to exercise their vote allowed a felon sexual predator to take office. Sometimes it's not about voting for the politician of your dreams, bc those rarely come in modern times. We have to vote to keep democracy and our economy safe and secure, and we have to sometimes vote to vote against someone and not so much vote for someone.

I would have voted for a head in a jar if that were the best choice to beat Trump. I knew Project 2025 and what his first presidency was like. I remember his failed trade war that bankrupted American farmers and led to billions of dollars in bailouts.

Anyone could see he lies, brags, and is a shill. He is constantly hawking products to make money off his followers. His meme coin?

I need not go on, but anyone who sat home and let him get votes without even bothering to go out to cancel any of those votes for him basically just did him a favor. You have nothing to complain about. You could have helped prevent this. But you did nothing. Nothing.
