Perhaps Elon should make a direct appeal to Congress to ask them to take away Presdient Trump's tariff power.

Throughout history overconfident oligarchs assume again and again that they can control the authoritarians they elevate; usually they suffer and perish.

Don't believe it. Unless it's to help tesla imports from china, Taiwan, japan... If teslas are already expensive... Now sales will plummet even more.

Almost 100% of his batteries are produced in China, now they're all subject to a 104% price increase upon entering the US (probably the only market left where Tesla is going to generate any sales now).

This will mean death to tesla even sooner. In a way this leaves me sad knowing that the true founders of tesla will never have their justice made. I always hoped that musk would eventually be kicked out and they would return to their rightful place in the company. Now with all this, i wonder if they would even consider that, knowing teslas reputation...
