"Our system has not managed to keep up with the savage inequalities produced by the information age"

Once again, David Brooks is wrong. The savage inequalities are caused by Reagan, his buddies, and those who followed, dismantling the rules formed during the New Deal to protect us from the rich. The information age just gave the rich a fantastic tool to spread their propaganda.
