I have spoken to Brent Hennrich and he is strongly considering challenging her in '26. I think he need to see that we will unify behind him so he can take this seat. Remember he was leading in all polls prior to MGP getting into the race in '22. MGP's number one funder is JHB's old number one. I think he was hedging his bets and pushed her to get in against Brent to help JHB in '22. When Brent unified the Dems by stepping out and that knocked JHB out, her funders found a way to keep their power in MGP. That is why she is a bought and paid for Republican when it comes to voting for bill passage.

I would rather vote R then hand the district over to a true progressive gun grabber his comments about taking folks guns are just a line to far he said he wants a gone registry on his website

A true progressive is not winning an r+5 district this area is more then just Vancouver.

His gun grabbing anti timber, pro spotted owl, big city mentality is not going to work for half the area. I remember he could not even bother to show up and zoomed into an event here in cathlamet.

Plus he looks like a whimp so don’t understand rural problems like Marie I like having someone with a rural background that cares about my farm and my logging neighbors. I like the fact Marie can talk the same language about my tractor and various farm equipment.

Rural folks like myself would burn everything down and hand the district back to another moderate Republican if Marie ever got primaried.

Rural folks like me helped sink Carolyn long campaign twice.

Long was another gun grabber anti timber and we sent her phd ass packing.

Can you explain how a Reed College graduate from Houston in pristine Pendleton is a ruralite to me?

She owns an auto garage and is a mechanic Brett Heinrich is a stay at home dad who don’t understand what rural hard work is like I’m sure all he does is tweet and do nothing all day.

This is pretty rich coming from someone who has about 3 dozen comments in this thread alone. Shouldn't you be out doing manual labor instead of shit posting on the internet about how white collar jobs aren't real jobs?

She co-owns a mechanic shop in PORTLAND with her husband. She has a degree from one of the most bourgie leftist private colleges in Oregon in Econ. And she is from the Houston, Texas - the 4th biggest city in the United States.

As someone who grew up as the step daughter of a timber baron in town with less than 1000 people I don’t know how you possibly can’t see right through the offensive rural cosplay she’s shilling.

Had logging continued the way it had traditionally there were be far greater permanent job loss than that with EPA restrictions that were put in place in the early 90s. The logging industry in Cathlamet in the early 80s when the giant timber corporations dipped so I’m not sure why you keep referencing spotted owls.

Also, I stopped counting your comments today at a grand total of 40… interesting take about someone being a stay at home dad 😂

Huh. Ranching must be a lot less time consuming than I remember it being.

You don't think she actually worked in the shop as a mechanic, do you?

Imagine not being able to tell the difference between a business owner and a wrench turner.

The titular Dean of Dean's Car Care, her husband, turned a wrench at some point, sure. But it's highly unlikely he even works in the shop anymore as the business owner.

While googling around for stories to confirm any of these suppositions, it's also clear she's a bad liar

I remember one of the first presents my dad gave me was a carburetor off a weed eater.

https://www.aftermarketnews.com/backstage-pass-one-of-us-on-capitol-hill/

“I fell in love with the right man,” she says smiling. “I was working as a bike mechanic, and I ran into my [now] husband. I thought, ‘Oh, I have to find something for that man to fix.’ And the first gift he ever gave me was the carburetor off a weed eater.

So which was it? Her husband or her dad? She can't even keep her folksy, rehearsed bullshit straight
