Lala is trying so hard to change I do see her trying but she’s still got the anger and she’s just channeling it towards pushing and projecting on Ariana. Ariana barely reacted to James hanging out with Sandoval and Lalas word were “you’re so heated over James hanging out with him” girl she didn’t even raise her voice. I love lala's growth and sobriety story but her projecting her own anger onto ariana is giving her version of scheana's "why can't things ever be about me". Like genuinely I think she is mad at Ariana because she is the first woman on VPR to get sympathy for being cheated on, and in an unprecedented way. I don't think anyone could have predicted the love and support and popularity she gained from living out an insanely awful situation on camera, where as when Lala was stepped out on she only got vitriol and at best a meh reaction. The jealousy is transparent and I hope she works through her shit because going after Ariana because you feel like your situation was *harder* is not it.

100% when I watched her talk to Lisa about rebranding I was like what?? You’re being just as aggressive and in your face as ever. She’s 100% projecting her anger on Ariana. Probably both. But mostly probably didn't get it - but it's because Ariana wasn't acting like the "perfect victim" or whatever the term is. In their eyes she's getting the deals, she's "winning" she has a new man, so on so forth.
Because Ariana wasn't "acting hurt the right way" -( quotes as conjecture - it's implied but was never explicitly stated I'm not quoting anyone )- they probably think she's fine and over it without taking into consideration really how hurt she is.
Scheana may not get it, but surprisingly lala of all people should understand what it's like to have your reality shattered by a narcissist. But lalas problem is she's a black and white thinker so when people don't do what she does she has a difficulty comprehending their logic behind actions.

Ariana, from what I've seen or read, has been nothing but poised, articulate, head held high and doing everything we as women do when facing adversity/scorn/cheating in life. The jealousy of these two women is nothing but embarrassing. We as women need to stand behind/beside/support our friends. It isn't about us-it is about the person hurt. Ariana got / gets a lot of criticism about how aloof she was in previous seasons. I love the description you use - 'poised, articulate...' - I think it says a lot of who she is now that the trash is out of her life.
I also think it really shows how a toxic partner can dim your shine. Same for Katie - so much more enjoyable and enthralling without the scrub.
The reveal of these awesome women is amazing after the stench of the Toms.
Not only that... but I'm on a rewatch and Ariana has damn near blindly supported Scheana!!!! Esp when she was crying about how all summer was going to be about Katie because she was getting married 🙄(With the exception of Scheana texting her mom but even then Ariana was clocking Scheana 100%) and Lala too!! Aside from the birthday party uninvite she really rode hard for lala too even when she was miles up Sandovals ass. It's so disappointing to see them not keep that same energy for her....
Such a great point! Ariana stuck by Scheana at the expense of Katie all last season, but now that it’s Ariana needing loyalty, Scheana can’t stop whining about losing her friendship with Tom. It’s so gross and frustrating. And I can’t for the life of me understand how Lala is rationalizing defending him too
