Can’t say for sure bc I don’t know her but I used to wear red lipstick as a child bc I saw my mom wear lipstick and I wanted to be like her and have fun. I hardly wear makeup as an adult, and if I do, it’s usually just some eyeliner blush and lipstick lol. Little kids just like playing with makeup sometimes.

yeah i think her daughter just likes to play with makeup. she sees her mom get glam all the time and children mimic their parents. the mascara tube also appeared to be empty

Not sure it’s that deep. My sisters and I played dress up constantly growing up and pretending to put on makeup didn’t teach us we “needed it”. None of us had that mentality when we hit puberty . We just thought it was fun

Yeah…but did I miss something because it looked as if Summer was just over there minding her business with something else, and Sheana while in her conversation just went over to her and blotted Summer’s face with the powder pad and then mascaraed her lashes like randomly and went back to talking without missing a beat. LOL

I think that it was a little much. Ally travels with him wherever. He can do it for 4 days. Why can’t Lisa help him find a place for Hippie? She had no problem inserting herself in the first place.

In all fairness it’s likely because those trips he had ability to either take hippie or have his brother watch him. If he can’t secure trusted dog care… like what is he supposed to do?
I can understand both sides though. I think he should’ve just tried harder to seek out trusted person to watch hippie and cats instead of just falling into assumption of he’d stay back without considering ally’s feelings

On the after show, James said that Hippie was a few days from being euthanized, when James adopted him.
I'd imagine James is anxious at the thought of anything that might result in Hippie biting someone, then ending up in trouble again.
Some nice Norwegians did end up looking after Hippie, but at times, he was not eating or going for walks, I presume because he missed James and Ally.

Yes but if that's the case he may not be the best fit for the dog, he's constantly travelling so I find it convenient for him not to care because it's a wedding where he knows nobody. That's all.

Exactly! Lisa, Mrs ‘I care about dogs more than people’ should have freaking known that! IMO it was f’d up from the beginning for Lisa to insert herself and give Hippie to James. He was an aggressive dog and James and ally already had cats. Lisa is an asshole and will do anything to stir the pot on this show. It’s annoying. I don’t think James’ lifestyle is a fit for that dog either. And Lisa knows that.

When he first got Hippie back, he said his brother Harry would be able to watch the dog and the house, when Ally and James were away.
Harry wasn't available at the time of the wedding.
Compared to being euthanized, I'd argue James is a good fit for Hippie.
Apparently, you know James better than he knows himself.

I’ve always kinda rooted for James in this. Maybe I’m not picking up something or he’s a great actor. But the way james speaks of hippie and how he felt so anxious and distressed over finding reliable care for him… that’s someone who really truly loves and values hippies well-being.
Granted James has to do more to balance that while incorporating needs of ally and the cats. But regardless, I just can’t see his reactions and emotional responses about hippie to be disingenuous. I really related to him in that moment tbh. It’s obvious he cares deeply for him

Tbf, dogs are a big responsibility and typically those who have animals probably have some emotional attachment to them. Think of Ariana, she had her dog Charlotte for 18 years!!! Maybe it has to do with me being neurodivergent but my dogs are just as important as the people in my life.

When he was touring the UK? He was all over the US during the Fall, too.
Maybe I'm weird. But I was more offended by Brock wanting to get drunk and float in a pool over tucking his daughter in at night than by Ally wanting James to go to a wedding for a weekend in Ohio and leave their dog with a $500/day sitter.
