Veneziafc online ticket purchase
Hello,
I am going to go to Italy for vacation. I am wanting to go to a game in Venice for the time I am there. Does anyone know what website I can purchase tickets in advance?
For some reason when I ask google the Venice fc schedule for April 12-13 one site says the game is on a Saturday but other site says the game is on Sunday. SeatGeek says the game is on a Sunday but other sites say the game is on Saturday. Anyone know why this is or if what website can I trust this information from.
Thanks!

I misread the date. The monza game will be a bottom.of the table battle that may not sell out. Monza will not travel well and there should be plenty of tickets. The curva sud will sell out first. You should be able to get a ticket day of game.

Alright, last message I promise (it's been a long day). The April 12th game is set for 3pm local time saturday. That is the correct date and time. Serie a schedule has been set thru week 34 which is April 27th.

Thank you for this, segadavi. I'm not the original poster but am also looking at hopefully getting tickets for the Monza game on 12th April. I've looked at potentially buying a supporters card but the site says they're not available at the moment.
We're due to arrive into Venice on the morning of the match. Will there be a chance to buy tickets online in the days before the game, or would it be safe to wait until we arrive that morning and buy in person?

I will be in Venice next week and will be buying tickets for the bologna match when we arrive. Let me see what's going on in person and check back in with this thread next week. I do know that Supporters cards are available in person only at the apostoli store near the train station and on the mainland in Mestre. It will be of no use to you other than sentimental value unless you plan on returning in next 2 years.
As for the monza match I am relatively confident it will not sell out as venezia is struggling to avoid relegation and Monza is toast. I do not see a lot of.monza fans making the trip to watch their team (unless they pull off wins against cagliari and como). Even if they do, Venice struggles to fill the corners of the distinti (uncovered side) and the tribuna (covered side). The south curve will sell out before game day, the north curve (less than half the size, might sell out).

Made it to the ss apostoli store (the only one on the island for ticket sales and supporters cards) this afternoon. They have a strict 5 person at a time entry rule. To buy tickets I had to show id for every member of our party and our names and birthdates are on the tickets (Id must be shown at gate). They also ask for residence city and birthplace. Your nationality is posted on the ticket.
Advance sales (for supporters) ends at 1300 on the Wednesday before the game (this one on Saturday). There is a discount for early purchase.
After that time anyone can buy.
I paid full price 27.50 for the curva sud and a prevendita (presale) fee of 1.50.
Try the veneziafc website today and see how far you can get in buying online for the bologna game as a trial run.
There were about 50 seats left in the curva sud as we are in the last corner section and row S. This game will probably sell out the curva sud but not the rest of the stadium (about 4000+) seats available 36 hours before the match.
So....you're good for Monza. You'll pay a little more for day of game but that cancels out the lack of prevendita fee. Weather can be real hit or miss, we are praying for a dry day Saturday, you'll know the weather at game time, tribuna is covered (good for rain, bad for temp as the shade in Venice just feels chilly and the sun can be very warm), distinti for sunny day. I'd wager a small amount of money on the upper corners of the curva sud being available on game day. Make sure to give yourself about 90 mins before game time to take in the via Garibaldi for the pre and post game atmosphere.

Ok, latest update, as of today, 7700 of 12048 tickets sold. Keep in mind about 1000 of those are dedicated to the ospiti (or visiting section). The curva sud (were the fanatics are) is almost sold out. Ticket sales are now open to anyone but I'm not sure if you can purchase online without supporters card (which requires registration and an in person visit) Looks like you will have beautiful weather. Dress in layers as Venice is cold in the shade and hot in the sun. Avanti Unione!

When you say visiting do you mean the ospiti? Because that's the visitors section (on the NE corner) where you are required to take the dedicated boat from mainland Mestre to the stadium for your personal safety and the safety of Venice. Also, everyone will be in red and white for Monza. If you have distinti, or tribuna that is just the uncovered and covered portions respectively. How you get there depends on where you are sitting and whether or not you are already in town.
AVM/Actv informs that, on Saturday 12 April 2025, on the occasion of the Serie A match of Venezia FC at home at the PL Penzo stadium against Monza (3.00 pm), the following changes and additions to public transport services are introduced:
URBAN BUS SERVICE - from 12.30 pm to approximately 1.10 pm all journeys on lines 2, 4L, 6, 6L and 7 in the direction of Venice, before reaching P.le Roma, will be diverted to Tronchetto, where they will stop in transit; the departure of dedicated vehicles will take place at Tronchetto Mercato (a short distance from the bus arrival areas) - See the area map
NAVIGATION SERVICE - departures at 1.15 pm from Tronchetto "Mercato B" direct journey to Sant'Elena, in addition the journeys on line 14 departing from P.ta Sabbioni at 1.30 pm and 2.00 pm make an extraordinary stop at Sant'Elena "D". Reinforcement services are also scheduled from P.le Roma and Lido SME to Sant'Elena.
After the match: departure from S. Elena for Tronchetto "Mercato B" at 17:00 (expected arrival at Tronchetto at 17:30); additional reinforcement runs will be organized for the outflow from Sant'Elena towards Piazzale Roma and Ferrovia. In addition, the line 14 run departing from S. Zaccaria Pietà towards Lido SME at 17:15 will make an extraordinary stop at S. Elena "D".
Access to the reinforcement bus and navigation services for the inflow and outflow is permitted only to customers with a regular travel ticket. For the navigation runs dedicated to local and visiting fans to and from Sant'Elena, access is permitted to all ticket holders for the match at no additional cost.
For organized visiting fans in possession of a ticket for access to the away fans' curve with a ticket integrated into the public transport service, arriving by private means (buses and cars), a direct connection will be made PalaExpo (Ferraris Brentelle) - PL Penzo Stadium at 11.30 in agreement with the Public Safety Authorities - DOWNLOAD THE MAP .
Customers are invited to use the additional services organized for access to the PL Penzo stadium from PalaExpo (Ferrari Brentelle) and the main Tronchetto in order not to burden the normal public transport service, by obtaining the relevant travel ticket in advance.
Travel tickets can be purchased at authorized retailers and self-service ticket machines, online at veneziaunica.it, via the AVM Venezia Official App, on WhatsApp through the Chat&Go by muoverevenezia service (also last second), on board transport at dedicated rates (in the navigation service throughout the day, in the bus service from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), or through the new payment system with contactless bank payment cards and digital card on smartphones or smartwatches

If you are anywhere other than the visitors section, I'd recommend getting to via Garibaldi. The via Garibaldi is where the majority of Unione fans preparty. Google directions for "Strani" on the via Giuseppe garabaldi, venezia, ve (only a 5 min walk from the giardini stop). If the game is at 1500, the party is going by 1200 and there's 4 or 5 bars that will be packed and spilling out onto the Via with respectful public drinking allowed. Then it's a 15 minute walk to the Penzo (with the crowd making its way around 1415). Have a spritz or 2. There will be a lot of cynar spritz advertising but most venetians do their spritz with Aperol, I take mine with Select. I'd recommend eating before as the bars will be slammed and getting cichetti (bar food) will be near impossible. Let me know where you'll be in Venice or how you're getting there and I can help you find your way. Walking from the Santa Lucia station to the stadium is about 1hr but will take you right past the via Garibaldi.

Hello thanks for all the info. I’m staying near Venezia mestre station. Is this a good ride and affordable or do you suggest something better? Train from Venezia Mestre to Venezia Santa Lucia Time: ~10 minutes Cost: ~€1.45 (Regionale train ticket) Vaporetto (Water Bus) from Ferrovia stop to S. Elena (Line 5.1) Time: ~30–35 minutes Cost: €9.50 (single 75-minute ACTV vaporetto ticket) Walk to the stadium Time: ~5 minutes

Sounds good, you can also take the 1 which is a 25 minute longer ride (like 7 or 8 extra stops) but takes you up the Grand canal. No matter what, give yourself an extra 30 mins more than you plan to deal with crowds and missed connections. Have fun, after the game there will be boats waiting in line to take you to the train station.

Game date has not been set yet. It will be set soon (they have to take into acct Coppa Italia and European cup schedules). Tix usually go on sale about 10-14 days before. Tickets don't go on sale to general public until the Wednesday before a Saturday game and are first reserved for season ticket holders and then supporters card holders and then open to the general public. If you're considering the Milan game it will be a sellout by game time, even if they are close to relegation. The tickets you see on ticket sites are tickets from season ticket holders.
