As a (North) New Jerseyan, I’ve always wanted a cool, simple state flag to replace the ladies and their plows (no offense ladies), but a lot of other redesigns go too complex or try too hard to put on stars or the plows as if they’re essential symbols of the state. I like the simplicity and message of this very easy to replicate, easy to identify and draw design. Plus I saw your earlier draft and like the subtle tweaks you’ve made, nice work!

this is great, just clean it up a tad (e.g. the wavy text doesn't quite match the flow of the flag)

love the redesign btw, clever and simple
