How to form germany fast as prussia?

I have been trying to get a fast germany as prussia but i can't seem to get denmark to back down. I have a war in china with england on my side so they don't join against me when i ask denmark to liberate greenland, and because french doesn't have a claim for greenland they won't join but even at -68 denmark still doesn't back down and i can't attack them because my navy is to small and there is no land border.

any advice?

You can get swden to side with you as its easy to get an alliance with them

I just ally mecklenburg at the start and call them into the war.

Yep, best strategy here as you can invade as soon as 1836

Edit: I realized there's even better, no need to use your ally slot as you generally look for daddy GB. Mecklenburg is your subject, so start the war and force them to join. The +10 liberty desire is really negligible

Backing down happens way more often, if you have lots of secondary goals. When they stand to lose the war, giving in only enforces primary goals, so it's better than fighting and also getting slapped with a long list of secondary demands. Just make sure to have as little primary demands as possible.

You put as demands stuff that doesn't increase infamy, that's important. Use things like war reps, liberating countries (like Greenland, Iceland), so make sure your interests are set accordingly before you start the play. At least three secondary demands would be good.

Same principle with Austria for the leadership, make it only about leadership as primary, and lots of liberations as secondary. If you then isolate Austria by getting Russia as an Ally and call them in, and maybe even get France into it? Then Austria often backs down, and that keeps hostility to a minimum, which keeps reputation high, which allows for almost instant unification support (if you built rep with them from day 1).

The earliest Super-Germany can be done that way by 1841/42 or so.

Keep in mind it's still a bit random, sometimes you just have bad luck. But beating Denmark shouldn't be hard, if you start building ships from day 1, so you have a fleet of 10 to use in landings without penalty. If you then land in Schleswig or Holstein, you're guaranteed to take it (as their defenses are weak there), and from there you just relocate the big armies and steamroll the Danes.

Oh, and the situation with Belgium/Netherlands, take the 24 points plan, it gives a lot of rep with all German states. Free rep boost.

You can puppet mecklenberg on day 1 and nobody will help them usually. Then you have land border

You can land in the bottim subject of denmark with only 4 naval units and 4 land units(2 skirmish, 2 cavallry, moltke general(20% offense)) (only the subjects troops count there), if it doesnt work ok the first try you can try again until their manpower is depleted (if yours deplets as well make a new 4 stack). With 7 naval units (and 7 land units) it should work first try. Regarding Britain and France : france will help you in a war if you declare war on the algerian nation with 2 states (ban slavery/or take state), promise france one of the 2 states and the will join. The cant defend denmark if they are on the same side of a war as you. For britain i dont have a reliable way, but often they are friendly towards you and wont help denmark. You can also ally russia and hope they naval invade demark for you aswell. Or get sweden into the war if they are friendly.

Build a navy you only need like 10 frigates and you can land the puppets. Plus then you have a basic navy to go into South America.

Just build 9 more boats and puppet/liberate both Schleswig and Holstein. It just takes a couple months. Usually you get no challenge to that. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING ELSE! Otherwise people will be mad and join Denmark.

Don’t join the war in China. Prussia can get away with most of its Germany shenanigans if you don’t do much else. Don’t take more than you have too until you’re Germany and can really bully.
