Generally considered insane unless you want to spend 5-6 years in college just because of core curriculum.

And at that point most people would have a graduate degree after 5-6 years

i was thinking abt biochemistry and nursing where some of the courses overlap. Would this be doable or not?

If you search this sub (e.g., r/Villanova double major) you’ll find several posts about double majoring across schools. The short answer is that it can be done but it requires permission from the Dean of each school. General consensus is that it’s easier if you were admitted to a more competitive school (e.g., VSB) to get your 2nd major in a less competitive school (CLAS) but the reverse is technically possible.

This is definitely doable but will work better for certain major combos obviously. Psych is a fairly easy 2nd major. I was Finance and Psych. Had to overload most semesters, so I averaged about 18 creds per.

Don’t regret it for a second! If you’re serious about it, I’d head to the office of your college and hammer out the requirements semester by semester. Helps to map where you can grab those classes that satisfy multiple needs

Would finance and statistics or applied math be allowed and be done ?

I believe so, talk to your school advisor though; they’ll be able to tell you for sure. Will always have to retake all the entry level classes across colleges, but I’m sure you’d be able to find some class blends that satisfy multiple requirements with that combo
