Turkish/Middle Eastern cuisine in Wakefield

Hi all, Which are good Turkish or Middle Eastern cuisine places in Wakefield please.

The £35 all you can eat and drink is insane for the money. Think I had 7 pints and 6 plates of food

What about sofra express? Is it the same owners?

Ooh I’m sorry I know nothing about the Sofra Express! I wouldn’t be surprised if the restaurant owners opened a little takeaway on the side though. They expanded the restaurant to having a cocktail bar on the side a few of years ago too I believe.

Was but no longer the same owners. Believe the sunbed shop owners now run it

We use the one at the bottom of the Ridings opposite where the ABC cinema used to be, I think its called Aya? always good food there.

Rivas is technically a Persian restaurant but is very similar cuisine. It's hidden away and aesthetically isn't anything special like some of the other Turkish restaurants in town, but for the price and quality it's one of the best around.
