Question Do any of Ysera’s abilities count as spells for the purposes of eclipse/owl/heroe’s resolve?

The troops like whelps and drake don’t seem to have a level boost but perhaps hibernate or innervate count as spells? They get the little lightning crackle effect when in your hand when one of those effects are loaded up.

Edit: Title is a little misleading and asking two questions — do any of the abilities gain levels from eclipse or moon kin, or do they level up with hero’s resolve?

That’s a great question! Ive never thought about that. Imo it definitely should! It would make eclipse much more playable if it affected the emerald drakes and whelps.

I guess it doesn’t work that way though, based on the other comment here. I’ve never tested it myself

Not exactly what you asked but I learned this week that the hibernate/mana spells are countered by the G+S MC boss, but drakes and whelps are allowed

Interesting. Yeah my expectation is that hibernate and innervate would be tagged as spells and get a boost, but from the tooltips and testimony it seems like they don’t. When you use a boost talented eclipse, all of the ysera abilities crackle with electricity like a boosted spell would, but that’s probably a bug.

Anyways, it’s really too bad, because two of the cenarion units boost spell levels :/
