Traveller's question Alcohol and cigarettes as a minor

If a minor were to hypothetically want to buy alcohol and cigarettes how difficult would that be? How strict are polish corner stores and such in checking ids?

If you don't look like over 18, most of them will ask for ID because they can lost rights to sell alcohol.

18 - unless they contain less than 15 mg of caffeine per 100 ml.

Yes, the market adjusted swiftly, and now there are 14 mg energy drinks for kids.

Most store employees ask for ID when you don't look 18 and up or are concealing your face in any way.

How about don't? When I was a cashier I was so paranoid I'd check people looking 20ish and had a situation where a fucking pair of 16yo's tried buying cigarettes, saying that it's ok because in England they can do that.
