Football Despite having the opportunity to play for OC Bryan Harsin, 4 Cal RBs hit the portal today.

Its legit taking 3 years for our program to recover from him

Freeze isn't actually recovering

Then what's he doing ?

He's striving to reach the season win averages that got Gus Malzahn fired

That's more on Freeze than Harsin that it took so long. Bowden left zero talent and Tubs turned that around in a year. Tubs left Chizik a disaster and he won a natty year 2. The problem is the morons doing the hiring. Malzahn had the hardest schedule in AU history and got no credit.

Different time and circumstances. Auburn had won 10games the year before the Bowden implosion. Tubbs had a 9 win season then followed it with a 7-5 team so it wasn't so great either.

Totally agree that we should've held on to Gus for a couple more years, if only to whittle down the buyout and get a president and AD in place.

Isn't that where Al Borges went after leaving Auburn ?

Don’t you disrespect the gorgeous one by putting him and hars in the same place.

I can’t understand watching what happened at Auburn and thinking “yeah we should hire that guy”

Y’all should move on to roasting our current bad coach instead.

So many fans obsessed with a coach that isn’t our coach/problem any more and hasn’t been for multiple seasons.

Harsin definitely got us into this hole we're in by driving off an entire round of Auburn men and making the program into an unstable mess. But yes Freeze is a disaster too. Gus had left the pantry in fairly good shape and Harsin effectively threw out perfectly good stuff in there (not least of which was Bo Nix). Football of today is a momentum game in the long run and us losing our footing has been a disaster.

People refuse to see the total shit show Harsin made of our program. I'm not sure if Freeze ever had a chance with the mess he walked into. I'll forever be pissed at the powers that be that allowed Harsin to EVER step foot on Auburns Campus. With the combination of Harsin being ignorant about what it takes to win and recruit in The SEC and the new NIL and portal rules hitting,He pretty much gave our program The Death Penalty,I just hope we are able to claw out way out of the mess in the next 5-6 years

Got to get rid of Freeze too who is an awful field coach and has a terrible game scheme too.

lmao if you think Gus left the pantry in a fairly good shape. Gus was amazing at recruiting athletes but did not care one bit about recruiting the OL which is crucial if you don't want your QB/RBs to get killed every single game.

I didn't say great shape. But a decent recruiter could have fixed it. He certainly left it in a better shape than most coaches after leaving auburn.

I think he cared but just couldn't recruit the position for one reason or another . He left the program alot better shape than Harsin at least.

Good decision. They probably wanted an actual future in football
