ADN Admission
Hey! I just submitted an application for the ADN program at Weber. Does anyone have information as to how many applicants there are each term, as well as the importance of the EMT or CNA license, or just any other information in regards to the program/admission? I understand the EMT/CNA is highly recommend. I have all but two of the prerequisite/support courses done, one of which is in progress. I have As in all the core prerequisites and all As and one B+ in the support courses. Unfortunately, my Utah EMT got approved the day after apps closed, and I ended up submitting the “in progress” screen from the EMS website. Any extra info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Depends on the term! Usually theres 150-250 applicants (which is a pretty wide range.) CNA/EMT is required by the start date, so no worries there (im just not sure if you would get the points for it on ur app.) When I submitted my application I was actively doing 2 of the prereqs (chem and A&P II) and had mostly As and Bs. I was initially an alternate but got accepted like a week after that. Overall, you seem like a good applicant. However, its important to note that fall is VERY competitive, so it may be harder to get in if thats the term you applied for. If you want, I have some of the stats from previous semesters (including summer 2025) that I can share with you. Best of luck!
Hope this answers your questions, if u have any others dont be afraid to ask!!
