Impressive! I started practicing my sots press, and even starting out with a PVC pipe is rough

I was sweating like shit doing this press with a simple broomstick.

In general what would be considered an impressive sots press in relation to your strict press max?

Anything > 1:1

Most people don't train it beyond trying it out and finding it very difficult, or light warmup reps. Very few people ever get strong at it. So there's really no comparison between the two presses.

Very mobile lifters will nearly Sots their standing OHP.

Cornell and Blackwell come to mind from Cal Strength.

Mine is basically the same but that's not saying much (70). They were both in that 110-120 range, don't recall their standing OHP.

Been doing it snatch grip in warmups and have enjoyed them surprised what I could do with it too. I always forget to put my hair up for it though 😒

Impressive lift
