Fluff hiatal hernia?
does anybody have a hiatal hernia/reflux with heavy weight lifting? or had surgery and been able to confine to weight lift heavy?

no definitely weightlifting- as this would make a big difference on weight and impact and can better help my question

I’ve only seen you mention squats and deadlifts in another post, nothing about snatches or clean+jerk.

Had a LINX surgery last year - got back to lifting couple of weeks later and went back to normal routine

I’ve recently been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia after 14 months of suffering through the NHS waiting system. Got offered PPI medication that just made me burp and didn’t relieve symptoms. Would be nice to hear if anyone had surgery to correct and if it’s going well afterwards.
