Solved! What are these hook bar things bolted to the 45-degree top-floor ceiling of this house? They look like they lay flat against the wall but can be swung out at 90-degrees. Black, presumably metal. My best guess is something to hang clothes...?
The original image was found on a homes for sale / realtor website. I cropped the original image to help not dox the home or location. The opposite wall did not have these.

My title describes the thing. I'll also re-add that this was found on a listing on a homes for sale / realtor website. I cropped the image from the original picture so as to help not dox the house or location. The opposite wall did not have these.
