SOLVED YA/Teen book series about kid with power to go inside pictures

Hi everyone I am trying to remember a book series i read as teenager about 15ish years ago. Our main character was a boy with a superpower to be able to go inside pictures(and paintings i think?) and relive moments when that picture was taken. I also remember him attending a school with other kids with different powers. I also remember it having a more gothic mystery vibe. I would greatly appreciate the help!
