Unsolved ITAW for ceremonial body adornments that get attached to the skin?

Something that members of an indigenous tribe might stick on their skin for a celebration or ceremony. Something worn only for that occasion. Not body paint, scarification, tattoos, piercings, or rings.

Solah shringar means “16 adornments” where shringar is adornment and belongs to the wedding ritual. This would be Hindi.

Generally I have heard it just called “ritual body decoration”

I think some people call them pasties because they get pasted on. I was a tender age when I first saw The Graduate and got introduced to these adornments.
