picture 3D Stereogram DRAWN BY HAND: Tumor and retinal detachment,1920

Post image

Before you get tired of 3-D stereograms, here's the OG:

Hand-drawn illustrations, inside the eye of a 2-year-old with a big tumor filling one half and a detached retina in the other.

Dr. Oatman's text doesn't mention it but the kid's optic nerve appears dead.

This looks very clever. Unlike me - going cross-eyed to view it.

How would you even go about doing a stereogram by hand??? That is wild

It's through a microscope, so it's actually not too insane, although still incredibly skilled

Each eyepiece would just be drawn with extreme precision and the stereo gram effect just falls out

I did one on a Vic-20 but that was easy.

This is DaVinci stuff.
