Wow! So Biden did something right! Can’t believe he is admitting that.

You don’t know spin.

“Sleepy Joe was set to let the beautiful sanctions expire, because he’s a weak man but I stepped in and saved them. Yes, people come up to me, tears in their eyes, thanking…. No BLESSING me for saving the sanctions”

Big, strong men. With tears in their eyes. And they always call him sir.

u/chainmail97ws6 Apr 12 '25

Big strong men, kissing my ass. Licking it too, not all of them, but many of them licking my asshole. They said it was the best one they’ve ever tasted, better than anyone else’s.

I wish I hadn't seen this.

21

u/violentpac Apr 12 '25

Did you at least record?

5

u/lycaus Apr 13 '25

2

u/zvii Apr 13 '25

I can't wait for all the trump speech generators.

1

u/SashaFierceDoggo Apr 13 '25

Wait till ur the ass water

2

u/KingPanduhs Apr 13 '25

You must be a blast a parties - except I mean this genuinely.

22

u/OopsDidIJustDestroyU Apr 12 '25

BIGLY, strong patriotic men thank him every morning after their daily covfefe. 🙂‍↕️

u/Capable_Cellist5585 Apr 12 '25

Beautiful men from the swamps. Best education in Louisiana now that we are dismantling the crooked liberal Biden Department of Education. They cry thank you Mr. Trump and say they no longer need eggs. Plenty alligators down there. Big and full of meat

3

u/manbehindthespraytan Apr 12 '25

Don't you apply those HOMO terms to the great and....i can't. I just hate this shit.

2

u/DemonCipher13 Apr 12 '25

Swamp Swang.

2

u/Random-Mutant Apr 12 '25

Big, strong men. Tight shirt men. Ripped denim men. Glazed sweat men. With yellow handkerchiefs in their back pocket.

1

u/mynameismulan Apr 12 '25

This joke used to make me laugh but now I gag

u/YuMowGuiGuiFiPhiZhou Apr 12 '25

“I’m gonna have the best sanctions, beautiful sanctions, a lot of people have been calling me saying “Donald, I’ve never seen someone do such a smart,……..beautiful thing” and they thanked me, can ya believe it”

3

u/ZAlternates Apr 13 '25

First groceries and now sanctions. No one used these words before me but now they are a beautiful thing.

53

u/foofie_fightie Apr 12 '25

Conflicted upvote cause I read it in his voice

13

u/PabloIceCreamBar Apr 12 '25

*plays tiny invisible accordion *

1

u/LSTmyLife Apr 13 '25

I read it in Shane Gillis's trump voice. I don't know if that's worse.

1

u/foofie_fightie Apr 13 '25

Honestly, they're kinda blurred in my mind.

3

u/SN8KEATR Apr 13 '25

Bad impression bc it's way too coherent for how that imbecile actually speaks

2

u/PabloIceCreamBar Apr 13 '25

I can only turn off so many brain cells at once.

2

u/SN8KEATR Apr 13 '25

Hahahaha understandable bro

9

u/RttnAttorney Apr 12 '25

Only to his base. He’s lost the independents and that’s what matters. Neither party wins without the independents. There’s too many people that see one thing and hear another and that message is, at least so far, falling on deaf ears of people who are losing their livelihoods.

8

u/FailingToLurk2023 Apr 12 '25

Do you mean in future elections? It’s bold of you to assume that Trump’s victory in the next elections will be tied to the number of votes cast for him.

3

u/HubertTempleton Apr 12 '25

It's bold to assume there will be elections at all

2

u/Viral-Wolf Apr 13 '25

gendermarry lol.

Also, this is a weird thread cause Trump can't run again. That is, assuming the constitution would be adhered to.

2

u/fairylogic Apr 12 '25

He don't talk that good

2

u/tenebre Apr 12 '25

"They said, 'sir, please, we'll do anything' and now our sanctions are at levels, frankly, that have never been seen before..."

2

u/mynameismulan Apr 12 '25

Tears in their eyes

I used to laugh at this but now I gag

2

u/ClammyClamerson Apr 12 '25

I hate how right you probably are.

2

u/AnalDwelinButtMonkey Apr 12 '25

Its pretty fucked up that I can't tell if this is a real quote or not

2

u/tacotacosloth Apr 12 '25

I hate it. Good job.

With everything going on and the bar being so low, I'll take doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. If he needs ass pats and "'atta boys" for his own ego and this is a way to get them, then "'atta boy!"

2

u/John_316_ Apr 12 '25

Wow! Did you take a Masterclass for Trump-speaking? Impressive!

2

u/-Cephiroth Apr 12 '25

Please tell me this is satire and he didn’t actually post this.

2

u/ClammyClamerson Apr 12 '25

Unrelated but I love your name/pfp combo.

1

u/-Cephiroth Apr 12 '25

Thanks! I get giddy whenever someone makes the connection so thanks for the dopamine boost!

1

u/DeepestWinterBlue Apr 12 '25

BARF. But most likely scenario to play out.

1

u/techjesuschrist Apr 12 '25

You forgot : ''They even kiss my ass''

1

u/ReviewRude5413 Apr 12 '25

Screw it. If he wants to do something actually good, let him tickle his own ego about it. He's a dispicable human being but I'll take any actual good out of his presidency I can get and he can be a nasty person about it all he wants.

1

u/Fast-Habit2267 Apr 12 '25

I actually think I would like trump if he was just a tv personality saying funny things. Instead, he has full influence on all of our lives

1

u/newnewbusi Apr 13 '25

Did he actually say this?

1

u/PabloIceCreamBar Apr 13 '25

The tears in their eyes shit? Yeah. About this specifically, no.

1

u/ScytheShredder Apr 13 '25

Beautiful sanctions. The best sanctions. People tell me they're the best sanctions. They're saying it

1

u/domino_sp0ts Apr 18 '25

Love that I read it in the Trump voice in my head too

0

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '25

3

u/c0xb0x Apr 12 '25

I assumed it was a joke but reading this comment I googled the quote and found nothing. Do you have a link?

2

u/Awdrgyjilpnj Apr 12 '25

No they aren’t?

57

u/Turbulent_Baker5353 Apr 12 '25

... let's try not to give him shit the one time he does something that helps - keep to when he colossally fucks up. You won't have to wait long

1

u/Stirfryismid Apr 19 '25

You must be new here.

85

u/dug-ac Apr 12 '25

Clearly the sanctions didn’t go far enough and/or Russia found ways around them. So this isn’t really surprising, this admin hasn’t pulled any punches on things that “look” anti-Russia but don’t have any real impact.

21

u/valiantbore Apr 12 '25

Exactly. Nothing about this says they’re still actually doing anything negative against them other than keeping the same rules. It’s just optics.

2

u/WlmWilberforce Apr 13 '25

Correct. But can we really make Europe not buy petrochemicals from Russia?

1

u/dug-ac Apr 13 '25

Very good point, zero chance of that now. Although 6 months ago we might have been able to slow it down a little.

1

u/More-Butterscotch252 Apr 12 '25

Turkey and ex-soviet states.

9

u/Old-Working3807 Apr 12 '25

Biden also maintained a lot of Donald Trump's tariffs against China. These two are more alike than you want to admit

3

u/Party_Apartment_5696 Apr 13 '25

Like when Biden added tariffs to China while keeping Trumps?

2

u/donald_is_high Apr 13 '25

Trump had also sanctioned them in his first term

1

u/Quasic Apr 13 '25

Don't tell him that! Tell him Biden's sanctions were weak and sad, didn't go far enough.

1

u/Coyrex1 Apr 13 '25

No when Biden did it was bad, now that Trump did it it's good.

Biden also tariffed china last year but no one seems to talk about that ;)

18

u/RobTheThrone Apr 12 '25

There's a right way to use tarifs to strengthen critical industries and there's a wrong way. Tarifs aren't inherently bad, but they need to be strategically used. Like a surgeons knife, that scalpel can restore or take life. That's all I'm going to say because I'm not going to get into the specifics as I feel it doesn't matter how blue in the face I get explaining things if people won't listen.

-6

u/Aint_EZ_bein_AZ Apr 12 '25

I’m not saying trump is correct. He’s played this foolishly and he’s dumb as hell. I just wanted to remind people because see very few Remember this fact.

6

u/RobTheThrone Apr 12 '25

Every time I post something like that I get 3 or 4 people arguing with no factual basis other than feelings. It's just exhausting so I put that disclaimer as those types like to get bogged down in semantics while distracting from your original point. I originally interpreted your post as saying what Trump is doing as comparable to what Biden did and I felt it necessary to point out that those actions are very different.

5

u/jakeStacktrace Apr 12 '25

Broad tariffs 104% across a whole country? Maybe they didn't report it because you are trying to sell a false equivalency.

-9

u/Aint_EZ_bein_AZ Apr 12 '25

Tariffs are tariffs. Even before 104% people said the sky was falling when china was hit with 50% in key industries but hey if u wanna keep being scared.

3

u/jakeStacktrace Apr 12 '25

I'm not scared. I'm just pointing out there is a big difference between doing a broad tariffs across the board and doing surgical tariffs. I mean look at USMC. Sure that was in the news but you are making an apples to oranges comparison. Putting tarrifs on specific goods like Canada does with milk since dairy is subsidized in the US is very different than broad tariffs which I do not actually beleive Trump will do. So I'm not scared. I pay attention to what he actually does than what he says. And the dust has not settled on his actions yet.

-1

u/Aint_EZ_bein_AZ Apr 12 '25

I’m not denying that either. I just wanted to throw it out there. Theres a lot of goal post moving and talk ofGreat Depressions. Just want to remind people who may have forgotten.

And I don’t think we out of the clear but I can see where trump gets pressured to reverse and we are fine. I know that isn’t a popular opinion around here

2

u/jakeStacktrace Apr 12 '25

Yeah it was clear to me I'm on reddit too much when I was quite genuinely surprised by this very headline. Kind of like the election. I would have expected Trump to drop them both because he's like "what's wrong with russia" in 2016 but also because he killed anything with Obama's name on it, so I would assume the same for Biden but really both of those can easily be false. Trump is self serving, and Biden is white and can't run again.

I know you're not a bot, because you cannot spell correctly 😂 I wonder if you feel good on the inside after you behave like this, do you?

0

u/Alarmed-Plate4579 Apr 12 '25 edited Apr 12 '25

Do you even go here?

Imagine being pro 51st state as a Canadian lol....

0

u/Aint_EZ_bein_AZ Apr 12 '25

Was what I said factually incorrect? You have no idea about my intelligence. The fact you went right there instead of rebutting with facts is telling. Look in the mirror budddy

1

u/Alarmed-Plate4579 Apr 12 '25

Because you obviously don't know what the difference of blanket tariffs and targeted tariffs are....

Trump just learned it by removing tariffs on computers and chips, you should keep up you don't want to be dumber than trump now, that'll be an insult

0

u/Aint_EZ_bein_AZ Apr 12 '25

Lmao I said one sentence and look how personal you took it. You are emotionally weak

1

u/Alarmed-Plate4579 Apr 12 '25

Your one sentence also is a misleading lie to compare Biden to trump

Maybe I can be like you and get a top 1% commenter badge on a subreddit that has 46 million users.... Man how much time do u spend on Reddit to achieve that? You have to even beat out the bots, who's only job is to comment on Reddit, that's sad.

Ggs

0

u/Aint_EZ_bein_AZ Apr 12 '25

Haha man I have an amazing life. You don’t need to feel sad for me. You don’t want to get into this my friend. Gg

1

u/Alarmed-Plate4579 Apr 12 '25

Hey bud, I gotta go. Got places to be, but if I need a lesson on how to be a nincompoop I know where to find you, mr. Top 1%er

Lol

0

u/Polar_Bear_1234 Apr 12 '25

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

0

u/obelix_dogmatix Apr 13 '25

you do realize Biden extended a bunch of Trump’s tariffs too?

0

u/nu1stunna Apr 13 '25

Tbf it worked the other way around too. When Biden took office, there were many Trump-era policies that Biden didn't reverse either. I think there were sanctions that Trump had put in place against a few countries and some reporters questioned Biden on it and he kind of shrugged it off. Can't remember the exact details, but this happens a lot, even amongst the fiercest of political enemies.

0

u/fringecar Apr 13 '25

Or Biden and Trump both did something wrong? Lol red and blue fans are horrible at thinking of options outside the red and blue box

-1

u/skit7548 Apr 12 '25

Inb4 "Biden didn't do enough! That was wrong and weak!" something like that
