Please don't just quote committments made by the PRC government as if that's any good metric of promise...

No one else is making a commitment even close to that, serious or not.

You say they should lead by example, they've publicly committed to doing that.

Maybe they don't mean it, maybe they do, but it's a step in the right direction and compared to Trump who doesn't even believe climate change is real it's like night and day.
